"Why? Why? Why?! Why him?!"

[Y/n] closed his door behind him. Immediately after he closed it, his smile was wiped out of his face. 'It's so hard faking a smile every day,'

[Y/n] sighed, slipping off his shoes and falling into his bed. He just wanted to sleep. He didn't want to wake up. He just wanted to rest and have this pain leave him.

'Maybe if I'd just...,'

[Y/n] shooked his head, turning to his other side. He scolded himself for thinking what he did. Why would he do that? He saw how people were affected after someone committed suicide. It's horrible. So many cry and become depressed themselves. It just spreads the negative energy to the people closest to you.

"[Y/n], please come down to eat!"

[Y/n] sighed and went down to eat.

"[Y/n], are you okay?"

[Y/n] wanted to groan and walk out of the hall at that moment. Why did Jiae have to be such a worry box and know him so well that she knew when he was feeling down? It was annoying to him that she was concerned about him. He wanted her to leave him alone.

'Please stop being concerned for me,'
Even so, [Y/n] smiled softly, getting tired of giving fake smiles to the people dear to him. "I'm fine, please don't worry," [Y/n] sighed, looking at his revision for science. Stupid subject. [Y/n] hated it.

"Don't say that," Jiae groaned, lying on the table the two were sharing "I know you're not alright,"

[Y/n] kept on staring at his papers with a shaky smile. It was getting hard to fake his emotions. 'You're making you best friend sad. Stop it. You're the reason she's getting worried,' [Y/n] fought the urge to sigh and cry and instead looked at Jiae with the most believable smile he could muster in this time of day "I'm fine, honestly," [Y/n] said.

Jiae stared at his face, studying it before smiling back and looking back to her own revision notes. "Alright, I'll believe you," she said which made [Y/n] mentally  sigh in relief. To [Y/n], Jiae was too precious to him for him to make her be worried about him 24/7.

"So, what happened yesterday with Jungkook," Jiae asked through clenched teeth. [Y/n] noticed this and shooked his head, looking at her.

"Jiae there's nothing to be jealous of," he sighed. Jiae snapped her head to him, eyes big as her mouth was hanging open.

"What do you mean 'nothing to be jealous of'? I'm not jealous, why would I be jealous?" She spluttered, looking away from [Y/n]. All he did was stare at her before talking.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because I didn't tell you about him until one month later and, because of him, I had to refuse your offer of helping your family and you put up your Christmas tree?" [Y/n] raised a brow, looking at Jiae as if to say 'I'm right aren't I?'

Jiae didn't do anything. She just stared at the ground beside her. She tried to deny that she was indeed jealous of Jungkook. She jealous about the fact that Jungkook seemed more important to him now. [Y/n] didn't even know the truth about him! That he was an idol and that he was super famous. The only reason he never knew about Jungkook was the fact that school was his main priority and everything else was deep beneath him. He said that 'I never have time for internet and all that stuff'
