3rd Person Nico POV

Nico pushed through the doors to go save Calypso. He didn't know her very well, but he knew she didn't do it. Nico arrived at Chiron's office and noticed the door was cracked. He peered through the crack to find Calypso sitting in a chair with Professor McGonagall and Chiron standing in front of her.

"You have quite a lot of evidence stacked against you, Ms. Nightshade," Chiron said calmly.

"I swear, I didn't hurt anyone!"

"You have ties to Bianca di Angelo through your sister Zoë Nightshade. You know Nico di Angelo personally. We know you weren't present at the Quidditch game where Hyacinth Discus was murdered. You know Annabeth Chase, Magnus Chase's cousin, therefore you have connections to Alex as well. We know you were friends with Ms. Kane in your first year. What do you have to say for yourself."

"I was catching up on school work in the Hufflepuff basement during the Quidditch game."

"Is there anyone to vouch for you?"

"No, I was the only one not at the game. And I have nothing against gay people so why would I want to hurt them! And I don't know Nico or Annabeth that well and I haven't talked to Sadie in years!"

"She didn't do it," Nico said while pushing the door open.

"Mr. di Angelo! You can't be in here!" Professor McGonagall protested.

"That's not stopping me," Nico remarked. "Calypso didn't kill anyone. Her skin tone isn't right."

"Excuse me?" Chiron asked.

"Her skin tone isn't as pale as the hand I saw." Nico walked over Calypso.

"She could have been using a spell!" Professor McGonagall insisted.

Thalia burst into the room.

"Hurry! There's been an attack!" Thalia gestured for the teachers to follow, and Calypso and Nico tagged along.

"What happened?" Professor McGonagall inquired as they ran to the infirmary to get Madam Pomfrey.

"We were at the reunion, and suddenly, from the rafters of the room, knives came soaring, hitting several of the hunters, including Zoë Nightshade. One sliced my arm." Thalia held up her arm and there was a trickle of blood dripping down it.

They got Madam Pomfrey and continued to the Hunters' meeting room. At least seven hunters lay on the ground, bleeding. Zoë was laying on her back, the points of two knives poking through her shirt. She had been completely impaled. And worst of all, her eyes were still open.

Artemis Hunter, the leader of the hunters, also the teacher of Care of Magical Creatures, was closing Zoë's eyes for her.

"No!" Calypso cried running towards her sister.

"Come back to me, please come back. Zoë! ZOË!" Calypso fell to her knees and sobbed at her dead sister's side.

Chiron stood shocked as Madam Pomfrey tended to the other girls' wounds.

"I told you she didn't do it. And now she will always wonder if she hadn't been being interrogated if she could have saved Zoë. Thanks to you and your wonderful detective skills." Nico said with all seriousness. He knew what it was like to feel responsible for a family member's death. He felt that way every day about Bianca and his mother.

"Watch your tone, young man," Chiron said, not taking his eyes off the lifeless body that was Zoë Nightshade ten minutes ago.

"A girl is dead. I don't think my tone is a big problem right now." Nico turned and left the room before he could witness more gruesome death.

Nico returned to the Main Hall. The entire room went silent again.

"There was an attack on the Hunter's reunion!" Nico announced. "Calypso Nightshade's name is cleared. However, Zoë Nightshade is dead along with several other hunters. The serial killer is still out there. You may resume whatever you were doing." Nico announced. Several people let out gasps and a few started to cry.

Nico passed his friends at the Gryffindor table.

"Thalia is fine." He said and continued on. He ignored Annabeth and Leo at Ravenclaw. Nico even ignored the table he was supposed to sit at, Slytherin. Nico walked right over to the Hufflepuff table where Will was waiting. Nico collasped into Will's arms and started sobbing.
