She sat there, in the corner of the vintage themed cafe. I guess you could say she was a regular, since she went there nearly everyday to have a cappuccino and read her book.
Her right hand wrapped around the warm mug that sat on the table in front of her. As she picked up the mug she placed it on the rim of her lips, feeling the warm liquid pour down her throat as she took a sip.
She wouldn't take her eyes off the book she was reading though. The words gripped onto her tightly, not letting her escape.
Reading was her favourite thing ever. To her, there is so much storyline and beauty in the way the books are written that make the story even better. It's when an author can use their words to captivate her and completely make her forget about her surroundings as she loses herself in the book, that's when she knows it's a good book.
Since it was mid fall in San Fransisco, Alice had decided to wear her favourite yellow jumper along with some denim jeans. Yellow is probably Alice's favorite color. It's the way the color shines like the sun and brightens everything up, making everything feel warm and cozy, happy, that's why she loves it.
After an hour of reading and drinking her coffee, Alice had finally decided to pay for her coffee and go home. She raised her arm up and motioned for the bill so a red haired girl started walking over to her. The girl smiled kindly while she handed Alice the bill and waited beside the table.
Alice filled in the bill and put the money in the book before she handed it back to the waitress.
"Enjoy your day" the red haired girl said with a smile while she took the bill.
Alice faintly smiled as the waitress turned around and left. She gathered her things and headed out the cafe. When she got outside the cold chill of the fresh air startled her. She shivered as she reached into her bag and got out her headphones before she plugged them into her phone. She scrolled through her albums before she found Harry Styles' album and pressed play.
She stared at her feet as she walked along the sidewalk with some cars occasionally passing her. Alice lived very close to the city, however she lived in a street secluded from the city. She wouldn't call her parents rich, they are just very wealthy and owned a very nice house. But that's only because they always work.
When Alice finally got home she went straight up to her room, knowing her parents wouldn't be home yet- they never are. She dropped her things onto the carpeted ground before she threw her body onto her bed and kicked off her sneakers.
After staring up at the bare ceiling for a few seconds, Alice finally rolled over and reached for her phone before scrolling through her twitter feed.
Alice wasn't exactly famous, but the was "twitter famous". She was more so known in the One Direction and Harry Styles fandom since she's a huge supporter.
She sighed with boredom and turned off her phone as she rolled over to her side and reached for the book she was currently reading.
