"The dinner was lovely" Alice says once they all finish their dinner.
"Thank you, i hoped you'd like it" Linda replies smiling.
"Do you want me to help you clean up?" she asks genuinely wanting to help out.
"No no no, you're a guest, Tim will help me clean up" Linda replies.
"Are you sure, i could help if you want" she says.
Linda smiles, "you're so sweet. But thank you, you don't have to help clean up" Linda says.
Alice smiles as Linda and Tim get up to clean the dishes. Fionn gets up from the dining table and motions for Alice to get up so she does, following him into the living room.
"I told you they would love you" Fionn says with a smile.
"Are you sure? I mean maybe they don't like me" she replies.
Fionn puts his hands on her waist and pulls her into his chest.
"Ali, i know they love you. Stop looking down at yourself okay? You're perfect" he says with his soothing voice.
"I love you so much Fionn" she says looking into his beautiful green eyes.
"I love you so much Alice" he replies smiling and gently kisses her soft lips.
"Right lovebirds, what are your plans for the rest of the night? Are you sleeping over or going back home?" Linda asks as her and Tim walk into the living room.
"Well it is 9pm so i think we're going to head home, we'll see you guys on Christmas though" Fionn says.
"Yes you definitely will, and we'll have the whole family over which will be great!" Linda says already getting excited.
Fionn laughs and walks over to get Alice's cardigan before putting it on her. He gets his coat and puts it on before getting the rest of their things.
"It was lovely to meet you" Alice says to Linda and Tim.
"It definitely was, I'm so glad i finally met you and i hope I'll see more of you overtime" Linda says smiling.
They say their goodbyes before Fionn and Alice walk hand in hand to his car and drive off to his apartment.

When they get into the apartment they both get changed into some more cozy and warm clothes. Alice had a great night, she should be feeling all types of happiness. But instead she wasn't feeling happy at all, there was something eating up inside of her and she knew that tonight was the night that she had to tell Fionn. He's a big part of her life and deserves to know that she was severely depressed not long ago and had very bad insecurity to the point she tried to take her own life.
"Ali, what's wrong?" Fionn says walking over to Alice who was sitting on the bed with tears in her eyes.
"I haven't told you something about me" she says with hurt in her voice.
He moves over to her and sits in front of her on the bed.
"You can tell me anything love" he says while putting his hand on her knee.
"I.. not long ago, i was depressed. Severely depressed. And i had very bad insecurity which played a big part in my depression. It got so bad that one night i had enough and tried to take my own life. No one knows this about me except for my parents and Courtney. I am better now, but I'm still quite insecure and sometimes i do have days where i don't feel happy. But since you came I've never felt happier, and now that we're something serious i thought you deserved to know" she says with tears in her eyes.
"Alice... you're gorgeous and I'm so madly in love with you. If you ever feel sad please tell me because i will do whatever i can to make you feel happy again" he says with a slight hint of hurt in his voice.
He hates that this happened to her, that she felt this way. And god it scared him that one day she might have those thoughts again and end up losing her. He'll make it his job to make sure she's okay, because he never wants to lose her. She's everything to him and he's completely, madly and deeply in love with her.
"Thank you" she says with her broken voice.
Fionn lifts up her head so that she's looking him in the eyes, he can see the pain in her eyes and it's killing him.
"Don't ever think you're not good enough" he says and gently kisses her soft lips.

They spent the rest of the night cuddling together in his bed while watching a movie on netflix. His arm was wrapped around her waist and the other rested on his stomach. Her head was on his chest and her leg intertwined with his. Her hand was intertwined with his as he drew circles on her forehand. His head moved to hers as he gently places a kiss on her forehead before continuing to watch the movie.
Not long after she was fast asleep in his arms. He turns off the tv which made the room completely dark as it was the only source of light that had been on. He struggles to pull the blankets over them with the one hand he has free but finally succeeds. His arms wrap around her tiny body more as he holds her in his arms and cuddles up to her. He kisses her forehead one more time before closing his eyes and falling asleep as well.
