The bright sun shining through the window wakes Alice up, she blinks her eyes a few times to adjust to the lighting before fully opening her eyes. Her head turns to her side to see Fionn fast asleep. She smiles and gently kisses his forehead before getting up and throwing on his white shirt before walking to the kitchen to make some coffee. She finds herself smiling and biting her lower lip as she recaps the night. Her feet quietly tap onto the wooden floors as she walks back to the bedroom and rests on the bed while scrolling through twitter. She hasn't been on twitter for a while. Ever since Fionn came into her life, her life has completely changed. Her fingers tap the keyboard as she replies to many of her dms and tweet mentions. She takes a sip of her coffee and continues to scroll through twitter. Then her mind reminds her that she's leaving today, going back home to Los Angeles. No, Los Angeles isn't home for her anymore. Fionn is her home. She sighs and feels her heart slowly sink as she remembers she has to leave at 5pm. Her phone says it's currently 10am, meaning she has another seven hours until she has to leave.

Fionn slowly wakes up and blinks a few times to get his eyes to adjust to the brightness. He turns his head to look at Alice and smiles.
"Good morning beautiful" he says quietly.
"Good morning sleepy head" she replies smiling.
"How you feeling today?" he asks while sitting up.
"Well i remembered I'm leaving today so that sucks but I'm also quite sore" she replies and slightly laughs.
"Sorry" he replies with a chuckle.
"Don't be, you were great" she says and winks at him causing them both to laugh.
Her smile fades as once again, her mind reminds her she's leaving today. She sighs and looks down at her hands.
"What's wrong love?" Fionn asks tucking the strands of hair fallen in front of Alice's face behind her ears.
"I don't want to leave Fionn, i don't want to leave you" she say quietly, still looking down at her hands.
"Ali, we'll get to see each other again soon" he says while grabbing her hand.
"How long is soon?" she asks, still looking down.
"I don't know yet, but we'll figure it out" he replies.
"You've got to go home at some stage anyways, you have to work and see your parents" he adds.
"I don't care, i want to stay with you" she replies.
"Ali, you know I'm going to be very busy for a while and I'm starting tomorrow. If you had stayed longer you wouldn't be able to see me as much anyways, and you don't know anyone here" he explains.
"But if we were to ever live together I'd have to deal with that anyways, plus i can always go out and make friends, I'd need to find a job anyways" she replies.
Right after she said that she regretted it, she just dropped a huge bomb on him. They haven't even talked about moving in with each other yet, the relationship is still a bit fresh.
"Sorry" she says and looks away.
"Sorry for what?" he asks.
"For what i just said" she replies.
"Don't be" he says smiling and places his hand on her face before moving her face towards his and gently kissing her lips.
"We've got another seven hours, let's make the most of it" he says.
"Sounds good" she replies quietly.
They both get up and take a shower together before getting changed into some different clothes.
They had decided to go to a café to have some breakfast and coffee before coming back to the apartment to pack Alice's stuff and then chill out at the apartment before heading off to the airport.

"Hi, could i please have the breakfast special?" Alice asks the waitress standing at their table.
The waitress nods and writes it down on her notepad before turning to look at Fionn.
"I'll have the same as her" he says with a smile.
The waitress writes the rest of their orders down on her notepad before taking their menus and walking off to the kitchen.
After a few minutes the waitress returns with their orders and places it down on their table. They both say thank you before the waitress leaves to take orders from another table.
"Hmm this is good" Alice says as she takes her first bite of her food.
Fionn looks up at her and nods with a smile before taking another bite of his food.
They continue to eat their food and talk for ages, enjoying the last few hours they have together.

"So this is everything right?" Fionn asks as he looks down at all of Alice's stuff.
"Yep, I'm pretty sure it is" Alice replies.
Fionn gets his phone from his bed and checks the time.
"It's 3:27pm, we should probably start leaving" Fionn says.
"I guess we should" Alice replies with a tone of hurt in her voice.
They both grab all of Alice's stuff and put it in the trunk before getting into the car to drive off to the airport. Fionn had put on some 80s music to lighten the mood and make their last car trip together a fun one.
"I love you" Alice says out of the blue.
"I love you too Ali" Fionn replies and continues to drive.
They pull up to the airport and park the car before getting out Alice's stuff from the trunk and walking off to her terminal.
Before she could even get to her gate she had to check in and they both had to go through many security checks.

"Boarding call for flight 113 to Los Angeles" the speakers say.
Alice looks up at Fionn, her eyes filled with tears.
"I don't want to leave you Fionn" she says.
"Me neither, but we'll see each other again soon. I'll make sure we do" he replies.
He pulls her into a tight hug before kissing her on the lips. They hug and kiss one more time before Alice walks off to the line and slowly disappears into the distance.
Her eyes are stinging of the tears that are streaming down her face. She doesn't want to leave him, he's her home, she belongs with him.
He felt his heart slowly break as she disappears from his sight. He sighs before turning around to walk back to his car.
He already misses her, she already misses him.
