The next day, London 6pm, Los Angeles 10am.

Alice had called again and Fionn couldn't hang up on her quicker. He felt bad, but he had to do it. He quickly moved his phone aside and got up from his bed, rubbing his hands over his face once he found his balance.

"Fionn? you ready?" a seductive female voice called from the bathroom.

His heart started pumping as he quickly straightened his clothes and checked if he had definitely hung up on Alice. Sighing of relief when he noticed he had.

"Did you see a ghost or something?" Elizabeth said with a giggle as she entered the bedroom.

Fionn turned around and saw Elizabeth standing on the other side of the bed in a tight red dress. She had finally finished her makeup, which Fionn thought looked way too slutty. She had straightened her hair and stood tall because of her high heels. She was the complete opposite of Alice.

Elizabeth stared at him in confusion, her face showing a slight bit of annoyance. "Well are you ready to go?"

"Yep, definitely" Fionn said in monotone.

He hated being around her, she was such a brat. She didn't have respect for anyone. All she would do is complain, even about things he did. It's like she controls his life. Which made him think, why does he spend so much time with her?

"For fuck sake let's go then!" Elizabeth complained, grabbing her purse off the bed.

Fionn sighed as he got his stuff and exited the room with Elizabeth. They made their way to the elevator before walking out the back exit of the hotel to get away from all the paparazzi.

Their chauffeur opened the limo door, Elizabeth getting in first, then followed by Fionn.

They were heading to an exclusive party for the Dunkirk movie, all the actors from the movie had been invited, along with many other famous actors. Fionn had taken Elizabeth as his plus one, he wasn't sure why since he didn't really have to take anyone with him and if he did it would've been Alice, but Elizabeth basically insisted on going when Fionn had slightly mentioned it.

"Tonight is going to be great babe, I'm so glad you're taking me with you" Elizabeth said smugly.

"Uh y-yeah, of course, no problem"

They both sat in silence, the only sound coming from the rain hitting onto the car roof. They would have to be like this for 30 minutes, 30 minutes of an awkward and uncomfortable silence. Unless of course, Elizabeth decided to open her big mouth again.

"I don't know Col.. something feels off" Alice said with a sad tone.

Her chin rested on her hand as she sat on the stool of the kitchen island. Her food sat in front of her, half eaten and cold.

"Look Ali, I'm sure everything is fine. Fionn is probably just really busy. I mean don't forget, he's the main character in a blockbuster movie" Colleen said trying to reassure Alice, although she too felt like something was off.

Alice sighed as her mind raced for possible answers to this feeling. Not wanting to accept one that kept crossing her mind.

Colleen sighed, "Look, just try and do something that will get your mind off it. I would come over but I've got uni in an hour"

"Ugh why did Fionn have to call me in sick for 3 days, I could've gone to work today. Maybe I'll just invite L-"

"And don't even think about inviting Liam over, something feels off with him too" Colleen said sternly, cutting Alice off.

"Yeah no of course I wouldn't" Alice said quickly, trying to make it seem like she definitely wasn't suggesting on inviting him over.

Both ends of the phone call were quiet for a few seconds, a calm quiet.

"Maybe I should go and see my parents. Or is that a bad idea?" Alice suggested, biting her nail at the thought.

"That might be a good idea. Seeing as though you haven't seen them once since you arrived"

They continued to talk for a few more minutes before Colleen hung up to go and get ready for uni.

Once Alice had finished cleaning her kitchen, she went to take a quick shower before getting ready for the day. She was quite nervous to go and visit her parents, only because she hadn't gone to visit them since she arrived back in Los Angeles.

She took a deep breath as she looked into the mirror, making sure she looked 100%. Once satisfied, she gathered all of her things that she'd need before heading down to her car and driving off to her parents house.

Alice hadn't let them know she was coming over, she also doesn't have a clue if they're even home. But it was worth a shot.

Her stomach turned more and more as she got closer to her parents house. Why was she so nervous? She slowly pulled into the driveway, taking a deep breath before she got out of the car and headed to the front door.

As she reached the front door she debated on turning around and leaving, but before she could even walk away she found herself knocking on the door.

Within seconds the door swung open.

"Hi mom.."

When they finally reached the venue, the place was crowded with paparazzi.

Great. Fionn thought to himself.

He was told to get out first and to help Elizabeth out as it would look more "professional". He agreed even though he didn't want to, a girl like her didn't deserve to be treated like a princess.

Elizabeth held on to Fionn's hand as she got out, and wouldn't let got as they walked over the red carpet with lights flashing every millisecond.

Fionn tried desperately to let go of her hand, discretely moving his hand around to make her budge. Yet she wouldn't, she held tightly onto his hand, like she knew he wanted to let go and she wouldn't allow it.

Then they entered the building, which somehow caused everyone to quiet down and stare at them.

Maybe because they weren't expecting Elizabeth..
