Her loud alarm suddenly starts playing, waking her up. She has work today again. She groans as her tired body struggles to get out of bed. It was 7am, way to early for her. She decides to take a shower since that will hopefully wake her up some more. After her shower she puts her hair up into a messy ponytail and adds some light makeup onto her face. She gets out her work clothes from her closet and grabs her things before walking downstairs to have breakfast. She decided to have milk with froot loops and a coffee.

Fionn: what was your work called again?

Ali: meraki's coffee

She turns off her phone and places the dirty dishes in the sink before grabbing her stuff and heading out to her car. She plugs the aux cord into her phone's audiojack and chooses some music to listen to before driving off to her work. When she arrives she parks her car and walks inside the staff entrance.
"Hey Ali!" Courtney yells out.
"Hey!" she replies.
She puts on her badge and walks to the cashiers.
"So how's everything going with you and famous actor slash loverboy?" Courtney asks winking.
"Oh shut up, everything's great. He's perfect" she says smiling.

After a few hours of working she looks up at the clock and sees that her shift would end in a few minutes. She hears the café door open and looks over to notice a brunette boy with a yellow raincoat on. Fionn. Her heart starts racing and she smiles as he walks over to her. This is why he had asked her what her workplace was called again.
"Hello love" Fionn says as he reaches her cashier.
"Hello you" she replies smiling.
He leans over the counter and gives her a quick kiss.
"I would like a cappuccino please, and to take you out apartment shopping or however you want to call it. Since you did want to have your own place. And i thought, what better way than to do that with your boyfriend?" he says smiling.
Boyfriend, she liked how that sounded. This was the first time he had called himself her boyfriend, and she loved it.
"I'll get you a cappuccino right away sir. And i would love to go apartment shopping with you" she says laughing.
"Cool, well I'll sit down and wait for my cappuccino and for you to finish" he says.
"Oh and how much does it cost?" he asks.
"It's on the house babe" she says with a smile.
He nods and sits down at a table.
"I want a relationship like yours" Courtney whispers into her ear.
"You'll find your perfect guy, don't worry" she reassures Courtney.
She walks off to make Fionn's coffee, making sure she makes it extra special. Once she finished she walked over to where he was sitting and handed him his coffee.
"Here's you cappuccino, extra special" she says and winks at him.
"Why thank you, beautiful" he replies and takes a sip of his coffee.
"Hmm it is very good" he says and she smiles.
"I'll be done soon" she says before walking off.

When she finally finished work she gathered her things and walked over to Fionn. She gave him a quick kiss before leaving the café together hand in hand.
"Have you got a few apartments in mind?" he asks her.
"Well i haven't really researched into what's up for lease" she says.
"Oh don't worry, that's why i did my research" he says.
They both get into the car and drive off to the first location.

After having looked at a few apartments they decided to have a drink at a local Starbucks and talk about all the apartments they had looked at.
"I really liked the 4th apartment we went to, the rent isn't too expensive and it's such a small and cozy apartment which i love" she says.
"And it's so close to everything! My work, your hotel, literally everything" she says getting more excited as she talks about it.
He loves the way her eyes light up when she talks about something she loves or when she gets excited about something. He loves seeing her happy, since he knows how miserable she is at home.
"Well i think we've found your new home" Fionn says smiling.
They both decided to go back to the apartment after they had finished their drinks to sign the contract. He said he'd help her move in and that they'd do it as soon as possible, he also insisted in buying some of her furniture in which she couldn't turn him down because he was too goddamn set on buying her furniture.
"Hey love, I've got a question" he says as they drive off to the apartment.
"Hmm?" she says turning her head to look at him.
As he parks the car and turns off his car they get out.
"Would you like to come and stay with me in England for about 2 weeks and spend Christmas and New Years with me and my family?" he asks her nervously.
A smile grows on her face as she turns to look at him.
"Of course babe!" she says in excitement and wraps her arms around him.
"I'd love to" she adds to her sentence and gives him a kiss.
He smiles and they walk with their hands intertwined into the apartment. The lady smiles as she notices them and they all talk about the contract before signing the papers.
"I finally have my own apartment!" she cheers in excitement.
Fionn pulls her closer to him and kisses her, both closing their eyes as he does so.

"Mum and dad, this is Fionn" she says as she opens the front door and lets him in.
"Oh so this is the guy my daughter has been seeing nonstop?" her dad jokes.
"It's nice to meet your sir" Fionn says while shaking his hand.
"She's very fond of you" her mother says while she walks over to them.
"It's nice to finally meet you" her mum says and shakes his hand.
"So um mum, dad. Fionn has just asked me if i wanted to go with him to London for 2 weeks to spend Christmas and New Years with him and his family and i said yes. So I'm here to let you know that i won't be spending Christmas and New Years with you guys this year" she says.
"Oh wow, well since you're an adult now we can't really stop you. As long as you're happy we're happy" her mum says.
"Thanks mum" she says with a smile.
"So, when are you moving into your new apartment?" her mum asks.
"As soon as possible, Fionn will help me" she replies.

After talking with her parents for a while Alice walks Fionn back to his car.
"They liked you" she says.
"Are you sure?" he asks.
"Of course they did, besides if they didn't they'd just have to suck it up because I'm with you and i chose to be with you" she says and he smiles.
"I'll see you soon" he says and gives her a quick kiss.
"Bye babe" she says as he gets into his car.
She watches as he drives off and once the car was out of sight she walked back into her house.
