"you need to leave. i will speak with you when i'm done working." i said standing straight up. "Now Lisa, i know i haven't been around for the past three years but....you're overreacting." he held up his hands. "no i'm not! i watch tv. i know what follows you. you need to leave jason. Now!" i held the firmness in as well as i could.

"Li, i just wanted to see you. i told you i would be back." he said staring into my eyes. oh hell. those chocolate brown eyes making me- NO! I looked away. "Jason, Justin, whoever in the hell. please go." i said pointing to the door. he came over and touched my hands. "okay Lili." he said setting something metal down. it made the normal clink sound.

i watched him walk to the door before i looked down. there was a note on a bead chain. i grabbed the note and read it.

what the hell? i picked up the tags. the tags had different writing on them. first: Alex, Jason, Lisa McCann. Second: troublesome Trio. Always winning. trouble or die. i almost started bawling right there. i put my hand over my mouth. "I'm back." Nina called. I needed air.

"Nina, can i take off for the rest of the day? I'm not feeling too good." i asked finding it harder to breathe. "Take off kiddo." she called back. i walked out taking harsh breaths. "Who was the guy?" i jumped. "Dammit, Kieth. you scared the hell out of me?"

Kieth was my boyfriend of two years. when Justin or Jaason? oh well, when he left i met Kieth at school. Kieth was always one of the popular guys and i was the girl who  pissed all the teachers off with my additude. he wasn't really the popular guy anymore. he was in colledge for forensic sciences. "just someone checking the prices." i lied easily.

"L, don't lie to me baby. i can tell he wasn't some weirdo. he knocked you off balance and that doesn't happen to you. so somehow he knows you because it is extremely difficult to get you to where you get angry enough to hold your breath and crinkle you nose. who was he?" kieth was getting jealous. not a good thing.
