Lisa at seven months.
Justin
I was in Maine at the moment doing a show. It's been two months and one week since I've seen Lisa in person. I was practicality running from the stage when the concert was over so I could Skype Lisa. She had been getting the ultrasound pictures in a orange envelope from the doctor. She made sure they didn't put the gender on them so we could see the picture and make a guesses on what the baby was.
She is now seven months along and was getting big. "Hi gorgeous." I smiled over the camera. "I'm egshausted and seven months pregnant, how am I gorgeous?" She smiled back. "Because you're pregnant with my kid and you're the woman I love. So you're perfect to me." I countered.
"Well I have a surprise for you. I was looking at the ultrasound pictures and I uh noticed something. Look." She showed me the pictures and I looked closely. "I don't see anything." I told her. "Look riiiight there." She pointed at a small form on the baby. "It's just part of the baby." I argued. "Yes, but no. Justin i-its part of another baby. We're having twins." She smiled and my jaw dropped.
"Twins? Twins as in two?" I wasn't comprehending. "Yes and the doctor thinks they're gonna be identical. He says it's hard to tell because they're very active." I noticed what room she was in finally. It was the room she found most of her comfort and peace in. She was in Jason's room.
She looked down at her phone and then put it to her ear. She held up a finger telling me to wait. "Hello?......This is she.......Are you serious?......Uh, no actually I can't.......I'm seven months pregnant....HE'S WHAT?......When?" As soon as She said that the doorbell went off. She hung up the phone and carried the computer with her to open the door. I couldn't believe who I saw.
Lisa
I opened the door to see no one other than my brother. "John, what the hell?!" I screamed at John. "Nice to see you to baby sister. So where do I put my stuff?" He pushed past me. "The living room for now. If you'll excuse me I have a video chat to finish with my fiance." I stomped back to his nursery.
I finished talking to Justin and told him that John would probably stay with us for a few weeks because there was no stopping him once he made up his mind. After that I went downstairs to find John was nowhere in sight. His bag was by the couch so he had to still be here. I walked around the house and up stairs to see him in baby Jason's room.
"What in the hell are you doing in here?" I snapped making him drop the blanket he held. "Lisa, I was just -" "I don't care. Get out of this room and don't come back in here ever again, do you hear me?" I cut him off. "I have just one question. Why did you build this room?" I could hear pain in his voice. He loved my son as much as I did.
"Because he was my son. He deserves a place in this just as much as I do." I explained. I did my best to walk to mine and Justin's room but it was getting harder and harder to walk. I knew in a few days, a week at the most I wouldn't be able to actually walk and I would have to waddle.
I was tired so I went to sleep not caring that John was here. When I woke up I smelt food. I smelt lasagna and something I couldn't place. I went down stairs to see John had cooked lasagna and Mac and cheese. I ate my food and text Justin goodnight.
