The Dance

Friday...

Throughout the week, I've been seeing Ross, Asher, and Drake nonstop.

We've all became really close friends and they're very protective over me.

Especially Ross which I don't mind to be totally honest...

But it's Friday which means Ponyboy's dance is tonight but I still don't know whether to go or not.

If I skip it, Pony will be devastated, but if I don't we will be caught up in forbidden love.

He knows how much I liked him and just when I was starting to find myself a new place to start in he drags me back down.

Besides the boys and I were going to start a camp fire tonight.

Ya know, ever since they told that story the first day we met at the beach I have started to hear weird sounds in the house.

Especially the times when I am left alone.

But it's not like I believe that whole ghost story thing. Psssssssh no!

Ok...maybe.

My mom left me home alone today just because she was going to work.

She's been working nonstop which I think is really nice of her.

"Daddy...Daddy where are you..."

I looked around my bedroom and unplugged my headphones.

"Ross, Asher, Drake, wherever you guys are you need to knock it off!"

I put my phone aside and sat up.

"Daddy, are you home now?"

"Seriously guys, this isn't funny."

I walked into the kitchen and I heard the noises getting louder.

The drawers began to open, the blender went off, and written in some kind of red substance it said,

"Get Out While You Can"

I started to freak out thinking this wasn't a prank.

There was only one drawer that did not opening, and I heard scratching from it.

I calmly grabbed the handle and was about to open it when everything stopped.

The drawers, and the blender.

I took my hand off the drawer and it all started to happen once more.

The drawer began to open, but I wasn't able to see what was inside of it.

I was grabbed quickly by Ross being pulled outside against my will.

He asked once shutting the door, "Didn't you hear me?!"

I asked, "What?"

He replied, "I told you not to open it!"

I looked in the window to see a little girl cleaning up the red substance and then disappearing going down the hall.

I grabbed his arm and said, "There's someone in there. I have to go see her."

He grabbed me by the waist pulling me back.
