“Jade what’s wrong with you?” Jesy questions Jade as she approaches at the bat where she was sitting alone. Jade shrugs and raises her eyebrow, “There’s nothing wrong with me Jesy…” Jade replies.

“Then come back.” Jesy pleads. Jade turns to Jesy, “Is he gone?” She asks her. Jesy laughs a bit, “Who? Liam? He’s actually really sweet Jade.” Jesy says. Jade rolls her eyes, “You told me a characteristic of him, not if he’s there or not.” Jade states.

“He’s still there, but—” Jesy starts, but Jade quickly cuts her off, “Then I’m not coming back.” She says.

Jesy groans but walks away. Jade, being in a bad mood, decides to call someone, maybe talking it out will cheer her up. So she decides to phone Sam and apologize to him. Leaving to a quite space she dials his number.

“Hello?” Sam answers, Jade can tell he is quite annoyed, it stung her a bit, but she brushed it off, “Baby, it’s me…” Jade said in a quiet voice.

“I know, and I’m in my room about sleep, so if you called to argue once again and hang up, then let me make it easier for you, just hang up while you’re ahead.” Sam says bitterly.

“I didn’t, I called to apologize—” Jade starts off, but she is soon cut off by a feminine voice.

“Sam, are you coming to bed now?” The voice belonging to a woman says. Jade raises up her eyebrow, “Who was that?” Jade asks.

“Uh, you know…just Mack.” Sam says nonchalantly. Jade right off the bat knows when Sam says it’s just Mack, it’s not. Mack otherwise known as Mackenzie has always had a thing for Sam, and is known for flirting with him, and over-sexualizing dance moves just to impress or more like arouse him. Jade absolutely despises Mack and Sam knows that.

“Why is she in your room?” Jade asks in a hurt tone.

“We have to share a room, since we got last picks of room, uh you know?” Sam says. Jade automatically knows Sam is hiding something because every time he is, he always says uh you know?

“Oh okay, well…just know I’m sorry okay—everything escalated quickly earlier.”  Jade says sincerely.

“It’s okay babe, I’m sorry too, okay?” Sam says sounding not as sincere. Jade smiles sadly, but brushes it off once again.

“Sam…bed’s getting cold without.” Jade hears Mack speak again; she then hears a shushing sound.

“W—what did she say?” Jade asks not wanting to really know.

“She said…uh you know…the room is getting cold.” Sam says, making Jade hurt and suspicious. Jade sighs, “I ought to be getting back to the girls…I love you Sam.” Jade says through the phone.

“What was that babe, I couldn’t hear you.” Sam says, Jade not if he was taking to her or Mack. But she repeats herself, “I—I said I love you Sam.”

“Oh, uh you know I love you too Jade, gotta go! Talk to you later.” He says hanging up the phone. Jade feeling worse than before bites her lower lip and sticks her phone back into her bag.

“He’s a jerk…” A voice says causing Jade to jump. She looks to see Liam standing with his arms crossed.

“Were you eavesdropping?” Jade ask shocked. Liam nods, “I didn’t mean to! The girls were worried about you, and so was I so I came to see if you were alright.” Liam says.
