It was another cold autumn day. The winds caressed the trees gently as the sun also battled with the cold. One second it was cold and the next it was warm. As if you were walking by a fireplace for a second and the next outside. Naruto, leaned on the wall as he had his hands crossed over his chest. His head was down and his eyes were closed. The minty gust of his breath was seen with every exhale as he was deep in his silent thoughts. He was outside the very structure he had come very familiarly with. It was the towering council hall. He remained rooted with the pillar as he waited patiently. He would occasionally shuffle in his well-tailored clothes as he was no accustomed to it. It had been awhile since he wore proper fit clothes after all.

"Yo," said a familiar feminine voice. "You look enthusiastic."

Naruto couldn't help scoff at the remark he earned. His opened his eyes and lifted his head to meet his sister's pair of gray orbs. Her face plastered with the famous Uzumaki grin as her tresses of crimson softly waved.

"You know me too well," said Naruto as he shook his head softly.

"All jokes aside. Are you seriously going through with it?"

Naruto's demeanor completely changed. His eyes were dead set on hers as they didn't quiver for a second. He slowly nodded and uncrossed his arms from his breasts.

"Yeah, it's the least I can do to repay back what I've done."

Sara pinched the bridge of her nose upon hearing that sentence for the dozenth time this week. There was no changing man after all.

The crimson-haired Hokage sighed and patted the nonexistent dust from her lap and marched away towards the giant double doors and Naruto followed.

The guards bowed to her presence and pushed the doors open without batting a glance. These men were the gatekeepers of this important place. Not one flinch was seen from these men. A clan dedicated to gatekeepers since ancient times still held their tradition till this day.

Once inside, they walked through the vivid bright hallway with pillars in every so yard. They were constructed with the utmost perfection as it showed its spiral twirl on the marble. Crimson bright curtains on each side with a sign of a house, and inside the emblem was a small flame. The will of fire they called it.

The sounds of their footsteps could be heard throughout the hall as stiff guards remained in place and bowed once Sara walked by. Naruto was amazed at how much this place had changed. To think he once attacked this very building and set it aflame. He shook his head and let out a rough breath through his nose.

Sara turned her head and raised a brow "Everything alright?" she asked.

Naruto chuckled softly "it's just something I remember," said the blond man as he shook his head. Sara sighed as she looked forth again. She hated how he was so vague sometimes. It hurt her as his sister.

Finally, the final double doors were in sight. Past those doors were the long table where the council was waiting at the moment. They sat there patiently waiting for their Hokage and their man of the hour.

Looking back one last time, Sara threw Naruto her serious face of authority. He nodded back and she gave the signal. The guards bowed and pushed the doors, the smell of unknown exotic scents filled Naruto's nostrils. The heads of clans all sat patiently, each and everyone staring at him. The sat aligned on each parallel end across a long table with an ancient statue in the middle. The statue of the first Hokage who served this land hundreds of years ago.

Everyone stood up and bowed at the presence of Sara which she calmly ignored. She walked past the long table and took her seat in the middle of the high seat. Naruto stood on the other end and scanned the room. He could see many familiar faces, there were those who spared his life and those who didn't. He also saw his friends sitting next to the heads of the clan. Including his precious Hinata. The soon to be clan leaders.
