When boots touch the soil
Questions start to arise
From the pit of toil
As sparks start to fly
Those who soon face death
Till their very last day
On the way home or to eternal rest
Conscience clear or stay afraid
Those who have never believed
Think about Heaven or Hell
Until either way relieved
A decision they may never tell
There's no athiest in combat
When boots hit the soil
The question always taunts
Whether theres a Heaven or Hell
