I switched off my phone than headed to school.

Daya's POV

I smiled than set my phone down.

Time to get ready!

I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and did my normal makeup routine.

After all that I straightened my hair and stepped out of the bathroom.

I changed into a gray, tight fitting, short sleeved shirt, a black and white tribal, high waisted skirt that goes about mid thigh, and some lovely tan clogs. (high heeled clogs)

I grabbed my school bag, and my phone than headed downstairs for some breakfast.

"Wait...so how long have you and Niall been together?" Eleanor questioned.

"Uh, 9 months, why?"

"Just wondering."

As we walked in the front doors I noticed how quiet it was from all the seniors not being here. (they went on a field trip)

I headed to my locker...and Niall wasn't there. That's odd?

We grabbed our books than headed to homeroom, I found Niall sitting in the back with Harry and Zayn. Perrie and I walked over to them, and Eleanor went over to Louis.

"Hello?" I said before kissing Niall on the cheek and sitting down beside him.

"Good morning."

"My dad's having this dinner tonight...Aiden and I never have anything to really do and I was kind of wondering if you wanted to suffer through it with us?" I asked hoping he'd say yes.

"I'll come." He shrugged.

And with that homeroom started.

I waited outside for a while...I don't have a ride and Niall alway's takes me home.

I waited...

...and waited

until I finally decided to just leave and figure he already left.

I walked home just like I did on the day that Aiden left me here and the same day that I found Ebony.

When I arrived home there was nobody their yet. I stepped inside and started on my homework...which was just to read one chapter of a book throughout the whole summer.

I closed the book.

*buzz* *buzz*

At first I thought the noise was a fly, but then I realized it was just my phone vibrating from inside my backpack.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Daya, guess what." It was Niall.

"What Niall?"

"I was offered a job for the summer and then I recommended a few people and got you, the lads, El, and Perrie a job as well."

"That's great." I was still pretty upset about him leaving me at school.

"Yeah. And they all count for points on our college applications."He explained farther not really understanding I was upset.

"Okay.''

"You alright?" He questioned.

"Oh yeah, it's just I don't really like being left standing in a parking lot for 20 minutes waited for someone."

"I thought Perrie and Eleanor where going to take you home."

"You always take me home Niall, not once did they ever do it."

"Then maybe it's time for you to get your drivers license." He snapped angrily. I was very taken back by his change in tone that I instantly hung up.

He's never used a tone like that towards me before.

As I was sitting my phone down it started to ring again. It was only Niall, so I left it there as I walked downstairs to get something to eat.

"Daya, Niall's here." Aiden opened my bedroom door and told me. As he stayed in the doorway waiting for an answer I sighed and finally said,

"Ok....and?" I questioned.

"You invited him didn't you?" He asked.

"Yeah, so?"

"Stop being so stubborn and come downstairs with us." He walked out and left the door open.

Now that is something I really hate that people do. If you walk in to someones room and they originally had the door closed, than you close the door when you exit. Not leave it open.

I got up and went to shut the door. As I was about to reach it, Niall walked in.

I turned around and walked back over to my bed. I heard him shut the door, than I felt the bed dip down beside where I was sitting.

I continued to read my magazine as if no one was around...like I had been doing previously before Aiden came.

Finally Niall broke the silence.

"I'm sorry." I didnt say anything.

"For snapping at you earlier." He continued. I still didn't say anything.

"And for leaving you at school when you didn't have a ride home." When he finished I closed the magazine and looked up to him.

"That's more like it." I smile at the end.

"Have you thought about the job for the summer?" questioned Niall.

"Not really...what would you be doing?" I answered his question with a question.

"I'd be a waiter...you see it's at this country club." I stiffeled a giggle.

"Come on, you wouldn't be able to serve someone food, you'd just eat it."

He laughed and shrugged.

"What do you think about being the piano player in the dinning room?" He asked.

"I'll think about it." I answered with a smile.
