Roy Harper x Reader (New Year's Eve!)

Applying my lipstick, I slipped into my favourite stiletto heels.

"Looking great for a night of drinking and doing stupid shit!" I said to the mirror.

New Year's Eve, and I was going to Bruce Wayne's annual New Year's party.

"Y/n, you ready?" called my best friend, Zatanna.

"Of course! Looking great, by the way," I said, eyeing her short black mini skirt and suit jacket.

"You too!"

I was wearing a f/c lacy top, black shorts, f/c stilettos, a choker, and my usual make up look.

"Are you going to look for Dick Grayson tonight?" I asked Zatanna, grinning.

"Hell yeah. You?"

"I don't have a clue. I'll probably be hanging out with Roy and Jason."

"Let's go, we're going to be late!"

I nodded, and started up my car.

Once we pulled up to the Wayne Manor, I parked in the driveway.

"Y/n and Zatanna. Lovely to see you again!" Alfred, the butler, said.

"You're sweet. Can you point me in the direction of a certain Dick Grayson?" Zatanna asked.

While Alfred pointed to a corner, I wove my way through  glittering cocktail dresses and suits to my friends Jason Todd and Roy Harper.

Jason looked up from his champagne glass. "Y/n, you made it!"

"Why the hell wouldn't I?" I smirked, and grabbed a glass of champagne from a server's platter.

"Hey," Roy said.

I turned my head to face him.

"Yeah?"

"You look great."

"Thanks?" I gave Roy an awkward look.

"Um, is it just me, or am I feeling sexual tension?" Jason asked, grinning.

I groaned. "It's just you. Don't you have something better to do than be an asshole?"

"Nope!"

"Is that Kori?" Roy asked.

Jason whipped around, and walked briskly to a pink-haired girl.

"Nice." I smiled.

"So, y/n. Any New Year's resolutions?" Roy asked.

"Yeah. Lose a little weight."

"You don't need to!" Roy blurted out. "I mean, cool?"

"That was real smooth," Jason yelled from across the room.

Roy blushed.

"Listen, I know we're friends and all, but I really like you, y/n. Like, more than friends."

"Me too."

I learned forward, and kissed Roy's surprised lips.

"Truth to be told, I've liked you for years," I said. "Ever since first grade."

"That long?"

"Yeah."

"You doing anything tonight?" Roy asked suddenly.

"Nope, not after the party."

"Netflix?"

"Only if we chill too!" I winked.

That night was great.

We watched f/tv/show, and chilled. A lot.
