I Know Your Secret...

"Damian! This is the last time you disrupt a school event! I will be calling your father immediately and suggest community service time!" Principal Edwards of Gotham Academy said.

The young man retorted, "Bite me."

The onlookers gasped.

Principal Edwards turned an interesting shade of reddish purple.

"That is enough!"

Fast forward three weeks and Damian was busy scrubbing the floor of the care unit of Arkham Asylum.

Truth to be told, Damian was glad to be out of the house, away from Tim and Jason.

But, he couldn't bring Titus either, so he lost both ways.

"Gentle, or I'll report you for abuse," a new voice said.

Damian's head snapped up.

A girl dressed in all black was being escorted down the hallway to one of the cells close to where Damian was scrubbing.

"Y/n. Cooperate, or we will be forced to shock you again," one of the guards said firmly.

"Yeah, yeah. That hurts like a bitch, by the way," the girl replied.

Ah. Y/n. The girl who single-handedly killed three of Gotham's crime lords.

She had been caught earlier that week and had been put on trial.

The guard unlocked a cell and the door slid open.

Y/n was walked into the cell after her cuffs were unlocked.

Upon closer inspection, Damian noticed a chunky black collar with three glowing bars in the side on Y/n's neck.

"Excuse me. What is on her neck?" he asked.

The guards turned to face him.

"Oh, that's an electroshock collar, in case she escapes," the taller, brown-haired one said.

The other guard was shorter, with black hair.

Damian raised his eyebrows. "Thanks."

"No problem."

The guards turned back around to walk down the hallway once more.

Once they were out of earshot, Y/n said, "You're Damian Wayne."

"Yes," he replied.

"What's a billionaire like you doing community service?"

"Suggested by the school."

"You go to Gotham Academy, in the eighth year."

"How'd you know?"

"Eighth years are required to wear brown socks, while students under that wear black. Students above eighth-year also wear brown socks, but you're too short for that, so I guessed."

Damian felt his face heat up.

"Don't be embarrassed. I haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet," Y/n said, a smirk on her face.

"Such as?" Damian asked. He admits, he was quite intrigued by this girl.

"You're in the middle of testing and you're ambidextrous."

Again, Damian felt his face burn.

He said, "How did you know that?"

She winked. "Writing bump on your right hand, but pencil smudges on your left. If you do go to Gotham Academy, they always have exams before spring break."

Y/n was leaning on the glass door separating the two. It was thick, bullet proof, and had a keypad on the wall next to the door.

The keypad was equipped with a security camera and a voice recognition feature.

"I know your secret."

Her voice startled Damian and his face morphed into one of shock.

How did she know I was Robin?

Y/n laughed, "Relax, I'm joking. But you do have a secret?"

Damian scowled.

He didn't like being fooled.

Walking away, he couldn't help the smile tugging at his lips.

There was just something about her her couldn't put his finger on.
