I totally didn't just publish this chapter on his birthday on purpose pshhh whaat...

The 30th of December, just two more days remained until the end of the year.

To anybody else it would be just another day, nothing important like new year's eve. But to Hoseok it was important, because it was Taehyung's birthday. Which is why he felt guilty that he couldn't be with him at the moment.

''Hey.'' Hoseok greeted an orange haired girl as he walked over to the table where she was sitting. Hyuna didn't stand up to kiss him she just looked up at him, her face blank. ''How was your flight?'' Hoseok asked as he sat down opposite of her.

''Shitty, I almost got my luggage stolen.'' The girl replied as she took a sip of her coffee.

''Do you feel jet lagged?''

''Hoseok just cut to the chase, I already know what you came here to do.'' Hyuna replied catching the younger off guard. ''Yes, I know you and Tae made up. And I know what happens next, you're going to break up with me and get back together with him.'' Hoseok was once again temporarily mute. ''But I'm not mad, I get it, you love him. It was wrong of me to try and claim you when you obviously didn't have any feelings for me.''

''I'm sorry.'' Hoseok finally managed to speak up.

''Me too.'' Hyuna spoke with a small smile on her lips. ''I just didn't want to move on... Back in freshman year I had the biggest crush on you.'' The ginger chuckled at her memory. 

''You had a crush on me?'' Hoseok asked earning another chuckle.

''It was pathetic really, and everybody knew about it but you. But I was stupid, I thought you liked me, you know since you always talked to me, you sneaked to my house at night and things like that. I thought that after we hooked up... That you'll maybe ask me out or something. Turns out you were just drunk and it was just a one time thing.'' A sad smile was plastered over her lips as she spoke and Hoseok couldn't help but frown. ''Then the second time we hooked up, I thought that maybe this time you finally realized you liked me. Turned out you were just drunk again.'' Hyuna chuckled to hide the frown on her face.

''I really am sorry.'' Hoseok spoke. ''I shouldn't have used you like that, I was a dick. I never even considered your feelings.''

''It's okay.'' Hyuna replied with a sad smile on her face as she took out a pack of cigarettes and placed one between her lips. ''I don't know if I'm really okay, or if I'm just saying this because it's you, but it's okay, I'm not mad Hobi.'' She spoke as she lit the end of the cigarette and let out a cloud of smoke.

''I thought you quit those.'' Hoseok frowned at the scent that made it hard for him to breathe.

''I stopped smoking for you, but we're not dating anymore so...'' Hyuna trailed off as she took in another hit.

''They're not good for you.''

''Neither are you.'' She replied with a chuckle.

''I really am sorry. You were always there for me, yet I treated you so badly.''

''I got used to it...''

''You shouldn't have.''

''I know. But I did, because I love you.'' Hyuna replied causing a sting in the younger's chest. ''But you don't love me, you love Tae. So get him back while you still can.''

''Hyuna, I really am sorry for everything. I'm sorry for taking your virginity, for dragging you into the drama with my dad, for ruining your and Tae's friendship, I'm sorry for constantly getting your hopes up and I'm sorry for being the shitiest boyfriend ever.''
