I stayed in bed for the rest of the sunday. I called my parents and told them I was already having so much fun and I’ve met really nice people. It was partially a lie, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell them that I wanted to go home.
I would be going to school tomorrow with Michael and we would all the same classes besides two. Since I was his exchange student we were the same major - thats why we go paired together. I would just keep quiet and try to get my work done without him being a distraction.
I went to bed really early hopping I would wake up with a fresh start.

“Grace!” I hear my name being called from downstairs. Walked downstairs and had a bowl of cereal and a banana before I went back upstairs to get ready.
Since it was my first day I wore a skirt, a black AC/DC shirt, and some boots. I liked to dress up, but I loved having a little bit of edge to my wardrobe. I went downstairs to see Karen was already gone. I walked straight to the garage to see Michael already waiting in his car.
“Nice shirt.” He says to me, not making eye contact. “Thank you.” I replied honestly. I wasn’t going to be a bitch and since he seemed a little friendly I was going to take was I was going to get.
“What’s our first class?” I asked him, genuinely curious. “Bio.” He mutters. “Okay cool.” I quickly say, not wanting to press further.
“So… you like biology?” He asks. I’m surprised he was actually pressing for information. “Yeah, that’s why its my major!” I chime. “What about you, why are you a biology major?”
“I’m good at it is guess.” He smirks at me and shoots me a quick glance. “We’re here.” He announces, that was quick. Barely a five minute drive. As he looks around for parking I noticed Thundershock was playing the background. He actually wanted to listen to AC/DC. Or he was playing it because of my shirt. Either way I was pleased.
When we got out the car I noticed we were immediately surrounded by the guys. Luke, Ashton and Calum were all by our sides. I shoot Luke a quick glance and he smiles quickly then hides his face. I walk next to Michael and I feel our arms bump against each other. I shudder at the first touch. I look up at him and notice him slightly smirking by our contact.

The first couple of classes went by pretty fast and I was on to my last class. “Hey, I have lab. But we’re going to Subway after class, so just meet us there?” Michael says. “Okay, have fun in class.” I say to him. He gives me a blank face and just walks away. Things were going so well today and I thought he would remain civil until we got home. Oh well, i’m starting to get used to his bipolar personality.
After class was over I had to find Subway. I should have asked Michael where it was. Now I was going to be roaming around campus. After about 45 minutes I walk into Subway just to see Ashton and Calum eating. They looked at me wide-eyed like they had just seen a ghost.
“Hey, where’s Michael?” I say to them. “Uhh looking for you..” Ashton says wearily. Oh fuck. “Wait, I told him I was coming here so why is he looking for me?? I’m kinda hysterical now because I know he’s going to flip shit. “Where Luke?” Calums questions.
“I don’t know.” I was really confused. Wait… “IS MICHAEL LOOKING FOR ME BECAUSE HE THINKS I'M WITH LUKE?” I’m suddenly a lot louder than before, and my heart is beating in my throat. They both nod frantically. I look down at my phone to see I had 57 missed calls from Michael.
I knew something bad was going to happen. And if it wasn’t to me. It was going to be Luke.
