“Because I wanted to see what it was like if I made up with her. It was selfish of me. But we have a lot of history together and I have trust issues because of her. I’m going to be honest, I love her as a person but Grace, I think I’m in love with you.”
“Michael..” I whisper. “I… I… I don’t know what to say…” I stutter each word. “Baby say it back.” He pleaded. “I don’t know if I can.” I start to sob. The tears are streaming down my face and I can’t seem to catch my breath. He can’t be in love with me. We barely know each other, I feel a deep connection but I don’t know what it is. I thought I was in love before but this feels different.
I place my face at the crook of his neck and continue to cry. He rubs my back and places kisses on my forehead. “Look at me.” He commands. I shake my head. “No.” My voice cracks. “Why?” His voice is hoarse as he places he fingers under my chin. He lifts my head so that are lips are near each other. “I’m scared.” I stare at him with my eyes still very glossy. “I know, but that’s what love is. It’s scary.”

I wake up the next day with Michael. Still slightly confused by last night’s events. I thought he was happy that Layla was back and I was trying to find a way to let it go, even though it genuinely hurt. I turn over so that I was laying on my stomach, I throw an arm over Michael’s chest. “MMM..” He mumbles. He’s too deep in his slumber to wake up. “Can we skip classes?” I whisper. “MMM..” He mumbles again. I roll out of bed and head downstairs to see if there was breakfast or anything I could make.
I loved having Karen around but I loved cooking myself. Michael needed to stop being a damn mommas boy. There was nothing made by Karen just bowls and spoons left out for us to make cereal. She already left for work, so it was just us in the house.
I made some coffee and sat outside on the patio for a bit. I finished my coffee and walked back inside to see Michael wandering around the house. “I thought you were at school.” He sighs with relief. “No I told you I wanted us to skip.” I giggle.
“Come.” He reaches out his hand. I grab it and walk up to him. He places his hands on my waist and brings me closer. I place my hands on his biceps and lay my head on his chest. I look up at him and smile. “Coffee breath.” He says in a low voice, his accent is so much stronger in the morning. “Shush.” I say and he places a kiss on my lips. He leans his forehead into mine. “I love you.” He says. “I know.” I whisper back.

The rest of the day was spent with Michael playing video games and me studying. I’d occasionally play with him, but I wanted to take the day off and catch up as well. He would often offer me to have sex with him but I would decline, horny ass.
“What are you doing?” He says throwing his controller down. “Reading Chapter 3 on cells, we have a test in a week.” I complain. “Wanna do something fun?” He smirks at me. “Like what?” I groan rolling my eyes. He leans in and kisses me, opening his mouth. His tongue swipes my entrance and nips at my bottom lip. I give him and let my tongue find his.
Our tongues work together, making me moan slightly. “eeek! Stop put me down!” I shout as he lifts me up and carries me upstairs. “I remember the first time we met. I wanted to fuck you so bad.” He chuckles. “Oh fuck off, nasty ass.” I say slapping his back.
He throws me onto his bed and pulls his shirt off. “Arms babe.” He says to me, and I lift my arms in response. “MMM, sexy.” His accent turning me on even more. “Stop it” I blush. “You hear that?” I say sitting up, thinking I hear the doorbell. “Well whoever the fuck it is can wait.” He spits. “Go get the fucking door, they are banging now.” Whoever the fuck it was, was getting on my nerves. Why are you banging on the door? It couldn’t be Karen. I knew she had a long day at work.
“Fuck.” He gets up and so do I. I throw my shirt on and follow him. I sit down on the stairs while he answers the door in front of me. He opens the door with his eyes wide. “Oh hey..” He scratches the back of his neck. “WHAT YOU SAID DIDN’T MEAN ANYTHING, YOU LOVE ME. I KNOW IT.” … It was Layla. Again.
