I don’t really know what just happened with Michael, but I’m too exhausted to think about it. I’ve only been here for a day and its felt like a lifetime. I decided to text Luke back to take my mind away from all the bullshit here.

Luke: Hey Grace!     (12:01am)

Me: Hiii, whats up     (12:01am)

Luke: nothing much. wanted to talk to a pretty lady :)     (12:04am)

Me: haha you should have texted Calum then ;)     (12:07am)

Luke: hes not as cute as you though     (12:07am)

Me: hahahhah. stoppp :)     (12:08am)

Luke: neverrr.     (12:10am)

Luke: are you sleeping??     (12:27am)

Me: no sorry, i was showering!     (12:32am)

Luke: without me :(     (12:34am)

Me: shut up :P     (12:37am)

Luke: make me.     (12:45am)

Me: okay.     (1:15am)

Luke: that was such an open ended threat… totally not scary babe.     (1:41am)

Me: dont call me babe, babe.     (1:47am)

Luke: nope changing your name to babe in my phone hehe     (2:21am)

Me: hate you.     (2:23am)

Luke: you could never.     (2:55am)

Me: go to sleep     (3:57am)

Luke: but i want to text you     (4:12am)

Me: text me in the morning     (4:28am)

Luke: its already the morning..     (5:17am)

Me: -______-     (5:55am)

Luke: dont send me salty faces     (5:57am)

I finally found my way to sleep. I was starting to like Luke. Not really in that way, but it was nice to talk to someone new. He seemed like a really nice guy that I would enjoy spending time with.

I only had a couple hours of sleep until I faintly heard my name being called. Shit, time for breakfast. Luckily this was just a weekend thing they did, because some days I really need to sleep in. I pull some yoga pants on a hoodie and head downstairs.

Karen sat there on her iPad reading a book she had just purchased. While Michael was messing with the tv, probably trying to find something to watch.

“Goodmorning” I chimed. I wasn’t a morning person, although I wasn’t a grumpy person at the same time.

“Goodmorning dear, help yourself to some egg, bacon, and salad.” Karen instructed. “Yes ma’am, thank you!” I said while walking toward the kitchen.

I looked at my phone before making my plate and I had a text from Luke.

Luke: goodmorning    (9:31am)

Me: hiii, morning     (9:45am)

I place my phone down to make my food and look in the fridge for some orange or apple juice. While rummaging through the fridge I hear my phone go off. I couldn’t find any juice so I settled with milk and close the fridge.

I jumped when I saw that Michael was standing right behind me. With my phone in his hand. What the fuck.

“Give it back.” I whispered while trying to snatch my phone away from  him. “From Luke, what are you doing babe?” Michael read in a voice mimicking Luke’s. “So all the sudden you're trying to fuck my friends, is that it? You’ve been here for not even a week and are going to open your legs to the first guy you see. Real classy. I’m blocking his number so you won’t be tempted babe.” He said in a growl.

I felt the tear pang one of my eyes as he sat there and insulted me. He was nearly calling me a whore, while I was just trying to get to know his friends. I have done nothing wrong but try to please and keep my distance from him. I just give up. I snatch my phone away from him and run up to my room.

I’m not hungry anymore. The feeling of being called a whore by someone you barely knew, made me nauseous.
