It took a few days more but you were finally able to see the gates of Konoha in sight. You took your time to stroll over since you knew it was going to be a long while for you to get a mission like this. It was much needed. You got all the audio and visuals you needed and some extras including the scroll. You mentally pat yourself on the back as you congratulate yourself on a mission well done. As you drew closer and closer to the gate, you noticed someone standing there in tears grabbing hold of a handkerchief with both hands raised to their face. The closer you got the better vision you got.

It was Sakura.

"Sakura?... What's the matter?" You said to her in a soft and concerned voice as you were finally in front of her. She was crying so much.

"Sasuke-Kun..." She paused in between breaths.  "Sasuke-Kun and I got into this huge fight. It was in front of everyone. Sarada was there. Her friends were there too. I don't know where it all came from. It was a few days ago and he just left. I don't know where he is. I didn't know when you were going to come back. Naruto told me you were going to be gone for either a short time or a long time. I've been miserable since."

You went to hold Sakura in a loving hug for her to stop talking. It was so much she was spilling at once and you wanted her to pace herself. You didn't want her to feel as though she had to rush to tell you everything. You're back home and now you have plenty of time to talk with her. As a friend.

"Sakura. I'm sorry I was away for this long. I didn't think anything would go astray with Sasuke home. But I do have to go report to Lord Hokage. Please. Make your way home and wait for me there. It's still early so we have the privacy you need. Alright?"

You slowly pulled away from your hug and held her by her shoulders. You looked into her eyes with love and compassion. Whatever the fight was about, it had to be a big deal for her to be this upset. As for now, you just wanted her to be home and comfortable while you go report to Lord Seventh. She sniffled a bit blow, whipped her tears away with her handkerchief and slowly nodded.

"Okay. I'll see you at my place." She responded as she turned away right after to make her way back home. Who knows how long she's been waiting. The thought of it made you feel terrible.

You hurried to make your way back to Lord Hokage's office since now you had another important task at hand. You couldn't help but feel drained though since you literally just got back to the village and now you have to console Sakura because Sasuke and she decided to have a full blown argument in front of everyone. You can't help but wonder what it could have been about though so you decide to truly go. But, you don't want to rush with the Hokage. You made it to the door, knock, get confirmation to walk in and you open the door.

"Lord Hokage." You said with confidence as you bowed to him. You walked all the way into the room and stood in front of him.

"(y/n). Been a while. How was the mission?"

"Everything went well, Lord Hokage. Here is everything I have." You took everything important out of your bag and showed everything to the Hokage. He looked very pleased with everything and looked more so when he saw the scroll. He put everything in a pile and thank you wholeheartedly.

"Thank you, (y/n). This is everything we've been looking for and more. Including the scroll. We're going to start today to figure out what it all means. Thank you for much. Your village thanks you as well."

"Thank you, Lord Hokage."

"Maaaan! Were you there to see what happened between Sasuke and Sakura? I missed it!" Shikamaru Nara, the Hokage's trusted advisor suddenly walked in without knowledge of you being there. Shikamaru was surprised to see you and Lord Seventh was surprised that Shikamaru walked in so suddenly.

"Ahh. Um. My apologies, Seventh. I didn't know you were having a meeting."

"It's a bit too late now, Shikamaru," Seventh said in a fast and hushed voice.

"My apologies again!" Shikamaru said as he clasped his hands together to show how sorry he was.

"Sakura told some stuff about what happened." You interjected. "She told me that she and Sasuke got into this huge fight in front of everyone and Sarada's friends. I'm going to speak with her after I'm finished here. She's...still pretty upset about the whole ordeal."

You were beginning to feel very upset hearing that people were still talking about it. Sakura was still so upset over it and people were gossiping about it. You knew that you can't control what people say or how they say it but you know all you can do for now is be a friend to her when you finally go to see her.

"I see. She didn't get a chance to tell you everything. It was very unlike Sasuke I can say. At least. It was very out of character but who knows. He has been away for so long. I can never imagine speaking to my wife like that. I enjoy deeply have a wife."

"Does she make you say that to everyone?" Shikamaru asked.

"NO! I saw that because I love my wife!" Seventh shouted. You giggled a bit in fear since so many men become so scary when it comes to their wives. That could be you one day.

"Is that everything Lord Seventh?" You asked hoping that was all. The room was starting to feel stuffy all of a sudden.

"Oh! Yes! Yes! (y/n). That is everything. You are dismissed. Again! Thank you for everything."

"You're welcome. It was nice seeing you Shikamaru. Have a good day."

"Thank you," Shikamaru replied nicely as you made your way to the door and closed it behind you. You let out a great sigh of relief. You couldn't believe how awkward everything got all of a sudden - so fast. You literally just got back to the village.
