Reaching Her

Fears Melting Away.

After finishing up dinner, you two originally wanted to bake a delicious chocolate cake but Fumiko became started feeling lazy about it. You reassured her that she was not being lazy since you two had a full day of running around. She's getting tired.

So, she suggested heading over to a bakery that wasn't too far. Plus, it would be nice to go for a walk after having dinner.

You two put all the dishes and silverware into the dishwasher and started heading for the door. You watched as she locked the door and put her keys in her pocket. You held your hand out for her to hold and she smiled while walking over and took your hand.

During your walk over to the bakery of her choice, Fumiko decided to show you around the neighborhood a bit more. You thought to look around the night you came but you were in such a rush to see her that exploring was the last thing on your mind.

"That's one of the biggest parks in the neighborhood."

"Whoa. It has a huge fountain in the middle. It looks better than some of the parks in Konoha."

"I'm sure Konoha has some beautiful locations to visit. You just have to take me the next time I visit."

"Will do." "After I find the beautiful ones."

"I mainly wanted you to see the stars. I know how much you miss them back home."

When she pointed them out, you immediately looked up. The sight was extraordinary. You almost forgot what the night sky looks like.

"Whoa..."

"Is it how you remembered?"

"It's exactly how I remembered. Thank you  for showing me the stars." You said to her as you leaned over to give her a kiss on her temple. You two arrived at the bakery and she greeted the workers inside. Looks like she knows them since they greeted her by name. She introduced you to them as well. 

You smiled and waved.

She made her order and you waited with her while looking around the shop.

"It's very nice."

"It's one of my daughter's favorite. She found it one day when she was with her father. They randomly found it. Her father asked her to go with him inside and they bought some cake lollipop thing."

"A cake pop?"

"Yeah! And she's loved it here ever since. Plus, it's great that they stay open a little later compared to the other nearby bakeries."

One of the employees called Fumiko and she walked over to get her cake. She ended up ordering a couple slices.

"I'm glad you ended up not ordering a cake because then you'd be left alone with it."

"You say that likes it's a bad thing."

"It is because there wouldn't be any left for me."

She laughed. You offered to carry them and she handed the cake over to you. You held the cakes in a plastic bag in one hand and held her hand in the other. You made sure to walk slowly with her. You really wanted to make this moment last. You felt this weekend was going to fast. You wanted it to slow down. Once you two get home, you'd finish dessert and have to get ready for bed. You started dreading the thought because you want more time with her. You want to spend more time with her. You wanted her so much.

It was then, she stopped walking. You were about to ask her what was wrong but she leaned her hands on your chest to lean up and kissed you on the lips. You were so caught off guard. You got a little lost in wanting to spend time with her that you weren't actually doing it.

She slowly broke the kiss.

"You looked a little tense." She said in a playful tone.

"I was."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"I was just thinking how I'd want time to slow down so that I can have more time with you."

She blushed.

"That's so sweet to hear." She responded as she leaned up for another kiss. You weren't surprised by this one and wrapped your arms around her waist, holding her close to your body. You weren't going to see her until next weekend so you wanted to make sure to get in as many kisses as possible.

You were the one to slowly break the kiss to softly kiss her on her cheek, on her nose, her forehead, and her chin. You nibbled on her chin a little and she giggled.

"Ready to head back to your place?" You asked her in a low and raspy voice.

"I am." She said as you two kept walking slowly back to her home. Once you got home, you tossed the slices of cakes on the kitchen island because you had picked up Fumiko and carried her up the stairs. You opened the bedroom door slowly with your foot and placed her on top of the bed. You removed your shirt and she starting undoing your belt and zipper. She was smiling at you the entire time. This was a moment that you were scared to have with her because you've done this with so many women.

It meant nothing to you each time. 

There were no emotions attached. This time, there is. You truly care for this woman and you wanted to continue to show her and in more ways than one.

The next morning arrived and you let out a soft yet long sigh. You turned over to see that Fumiko was still sleeping. She looked very relaxed. You felt accomplished considering the night you two had and seeing her so peaceful. Plus, your feelings for her remained. As a matter of fact, your feelings for her grew that much more. You slowly snuggled up against her trying not to wake her up. You had the biggest smile on your face as you've been slowly noticing the depletion of thinking of Sakura in a romantic sense because it was now taken by Fumiko.

Now, you only hope that this will last for a long time.
