You two had just arrived at the park. Fumiko was taking her time to take in all the sights. It has been a long while since you have been to this park and today is such a refreshing and sunny day. The weather was great and you're here with a beautiful girl. It almost made you forget of all the things that were stressing you out in the first place. It immediately made you think of the conversation you had with Sasuke. You were kind of still in awe that he didn't punch your lights out or literally killed you. You didn't think for a second thought that he grew soft from having a daughter. You knew he still had it in him to go for the kill and you didn't want to be that.

As you two walked deeper into the park, you saw the swing set and she pointed them out to you.

"Well, you said you would push me on the swings."

"I did. Ready to be pushed?" She nodded as she rushed a little to the swings and sat down on one of them. You made sure she was ready first before pushing her. Right when you were going to, you saw Sarada with some of her friends. She hadn't noticed you yet but you wanted to greet her. But, you wanted her to have a good time with her friends plus, your hands were kind of full at the moment as you already started pushing Fumiko on the swing. She appeared to be having a good time as you heard her giggling. You were having a good time too; even if you were just pushing her. It was then that one of Sarada's friend pointed you out to her.

"(y/n)!" You heard her voice calling to you. You shouted hello and waved at her. Then she and her friends started making their way over to the swing set.

"Huh? No! Why are they actually taking the time out to come over!? Ugh! I hope it's for a brief moment. I haven't been this way with a woman in an extremely long time! I might actually have a shot here! Wait...I might actually have a shot with someone who isn't Sakura? And I'm okay with that?"

You started to push Fumiko lighter on the swing so that it can start to slow down. By the time Sarada and her friends go to you, the swing was at a  complete stop. You wanted Sarada to meet Fumiko but as what?

"Hi, Sarada! How are you?" You asked her as you gave her a great big hug. It has been a little while since you've last seen her. It wasn't long ago that you would see her almost every day.

"I'm doing well. Just hanging out with my friends. We're gonna go to the burger spot after this."

"Sounds like fun. Sarada, meet my new friend Fumiko. She's visiting the village but she leaves tomorrow."

"Awe! That isn't enough time to see all the good spots in the village. You have to come back!" Sarada said to her. Fumiko chuckled a little at her enthusiasm.

"Looks like I have no choice then. I'd have to come back another time so that (y/n) can show me all the sights." As she was speaking her sentence, she looked towards you with a friendly smirk. You couldn't help but blush a little at the thought of her coming back, to see you, and actually wanting to spend more time with you. Sarada noticed that you were blushing but this time she didn't say anything, she simply kept a mental note.

"Great! Tell (y/n) when you come back to the village so that we can all take you around Konoha! It'll be so much fun! Oh. We have to get going now. It was nice meeting you, Fumiko-san! Bye (y/n)! See you later!" Sarada ran with her friends away in the direction of the burger spot as she waved. You waved back at her telling her goodbye. Then, you felt a slight chill. You had the feeling that you were going to see Sarada again very soon.

"She was cute. How do you know her?"

"She's one of my best friend's daughter."

"Oh wow. She seems to be really into you."

"Yeah. I love her like my own. I still check up on her every morning just to make sure she's has breakfast. Same with my best friend. Sometimes I wake up really early just to make sure she has something to eat."

"What's your friend's name?"

"Sakura Haruno."

"Hmmm. I feel like I've heard that name somewhere....maybe not."

You couldn't help but feel something of a cold sweat when Fumiko said she might have known Sakura. For some reason, you're not ready to tell Fumiko that you were in love with your best friend for practically your whole life and then lost to the eerie and mysterious guy you went to the academy with. You'll tell her soon enough but you just want to enjoy your day with her.

"Anyway! Want to continue our walk? I wanna show you the rest of the park before thinking about what to get for dinner."

"Sure thing." She said with a smile as she bumped into your arm with hers. You couldn't believe this. She seems to be having a good time with you. Well, she did just get out of jail. It must feel great to just walk around with someone you met on a mission and forget about being a ninja for a little while.

If only a little while would last a little longer.
