"Alright guys, you each have four campers as your own that you mentor." Kenny says as he hands each of us a list of kids and smiles. "Please get them now."
"Um Patricia Jeans, Opal Edgewood, Brittany Wings, and Maddie Tint." I call as the girls step forward. Each one has a difference appearance and I sigh slightly. Patricia wears all black, her eye makeup dark as she sighs, Opal has a more gentle look to her, her floral shirt and brown hair cut in a bob. Brittany where tight clothes as she swipes around in her phone, and Maddie pushes her glasses up as she stands next to me. "Hello, my name is Drew and I am your counselor."
"We can hear." Patricia states as she fixes her nose ring and I roll my eyes as I turn to Kenny.
"Alright now that everyone has their campers, we need to pair up counselors." He says and Ms. Tina holds out a hat and he digs his hand into it. "Lets see, Violet and Adam." He says and they smile at each other as he continues to draw them out. "Drew and Charlie." He says and I look over and see Charlie smile at me shyly. "Last but not least, Abigail and Dean." He says and looks over everyone. "My name is Kenny and this is Tina, we are the people in charge of your cabins." He gives them a big smile as he claps his hands together. "Lets have a fun summer!"
We step away and Charlie smiles as he stands beside me his arms folded over his chest. "This is, Lucas, Vincent, Trent, and Ben." He says introducing me to the boys and I smile as I shake their hands. "This is Drew, show her respect."
"Yes sir!" Lucas says and waves at Brittany as she gives a wink. I shake my head as he leans against the wall and I lean against it with him.
"So, your fans..." I mutter and he holds up his hand and I stop.
"I know, I was a total jerk." He says and rubs the back of his neck. "I hate doing it, but it's like they expect me to act that way." He says and scratches his head. "I'm really sorry you had to see that side of me!"
"It's okay." I say and smile at him as he raises his eyebrows and he dips his head down smiling shyly.
"I'm excited for tonight. It's going to be our first date." He whispers and I blush as he barley bumps my shoulder with his and I laugh.
"Nasty." Patricia says staring at us as Opal shakes her head with a bright smile.
"I think it's lovely." She says and Charlie blushes as Brittany frowns leaning forward.
"Why aren't you acting like the way you were before?" She asks and he shrugs as she sighs. "Well, that's lame."
"Why do girls like guys who treat them like shit?" Vincent mutters as I shake my head and Kenny clears his throat.
"Alright everyone, we will have enough time to get to know our individual groups this month, but let's get to know each other as a whole." He says as we all gather around and we begin the old fashioned name games.

The day inches by, and finally, it is night time. Everyone lies asleep as I sleep out the back door and begin heading towards the guys cabin. I sneak through the woods, the sticks snapping underneath my feet as I look around making sure no guards are around. Seeing that it is clear, I walk across the street and duck back into the woods. I find myself surrounded by familiar trees and when I peek around, Charlie sits there in a chair, like he had years ago, just without his guitar. He sits there looking down at his thumbs, fiddling with them as he taps his feet.
"Psst." I whispers and he immediately looks over towards where I hide. He stands up and walks over peering inside with a wide smile. "Hey." I say as I step out and he sighs happily.
