Third Year: Daughter of Sirius Black

           Katherine in DADA class where Snape was subbing for Professor Lupin he teaching them about werewolves and asked the question of what difference between werewolves and animagus Katherine answered it to which Snape said "Thank you Miss Katherine for that response and for the class ignorance there will be two rolls on parchment on the werewolf, with emphasis on recognizing it" Harry said "It's Quidditch tomorrow, sir" Snape said "Then take extra care because loss of limb will not excuse you" he had class dimissed then stopped Katherine she said "Yes professor Snape?" he said "I know you're well acquainted with Professor Lupin but know this if I were you don't be because that's what happens to the lot of them they vanish" she said "Professor, I respect your wishes but if I am my mother's daughter I say that be a challenge now may I go now" he saw through her he said "Very well, don't go looking for trouble". Katherine is pissed that two professors have warned her of who she is she sought out Uncle Remus during the holidays she wanted to tell him but she went with the group to Hogsmeade she was in need of cheering up. Katherine was with Hermione and Ron when greeted by Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle Draco said "Picking out a home now" laughing Katherine said "Draco, why do you even bother being a bully give it a rest already" he said "Katherine, why are you hanging out with these losers when there's a much better option?" Ron said "Like where is that, cause I don't see it" he said "Shut up Weasley, no one asked you". She said "Where's Pansy? Surely she would be at your beckon call?" he smirked he walked up to her he said "You're nothing without your family name? As my dad knows your mother quite well and knows your father isn't in the picture why is that I wonder". She trying to hold her emotions in she said "You talk a lot of game Draco clearly you're out of your league because as I said before merit means a lot more than money, my father will come back soon and when he does we'll be a family till then I don't have to put up with you and your d-league" he said "D-league?" she said "Dumb-league, which is Crabbe and Goyle" snowball flew and hit him and Crabbe and Goyle sending them running away scared Harry revealed himself to the trio he said "Clever name" she said "Well, he deserved it". 

        They went into Hogsmeade he showed them the Marauder's Map Hermione wanted him to turn it over to Professor McGonagall she said "I've heard of this map from my mother, and these names as well" Ron said "Really, who are they?" she saw wanted posters of her dad Sirius Black draped over walls she ignored him she saw his face she was lost in a memory Hermione said "Katherine, you okay?" she said "I'm fine, holidays have always been rough for my mother and I" she said "How so?" she said "My mother loved winter and my dad proposed to her in winter so it's very symbolic it's just every year I wished for him to come home to us" she said "Where is he?" she said "Traveling, I haven't seen him in a long time, enough about me let's go have fun". Harry saw Minister Fudge and Professor McGonagall at The Three Broomsticks pub mentioned his name he went in using the invisibility cloak leaving Katherine, Ron, and Hermione outside given they're underage and couldn't enter. Harry learned that his parents were marked for death and only a few knew where they were one who did was Sirius Black and he told Voldemort and that he killed Peter Pettigrew McGonagall said "Sirius Black left behind a wife and daughter, the child was godchild of the Potters" Fudge said "Do they know of his location?" McGonagall said "No, we have our eyes on her watching her as we speak, his wife on the other hand we doubt she would turn his location over due to everything" he said "She would commit treason?" Miss Rosmerta said "I know his wife, she's  a very big into event planning had her here months ago for a party didn't think much of it" Fudge said "She was here?" McGonagall said "Katey, was a student of mine and I know quite well she wouldn't commit treason even for her husband" Fudge said "Back to Sirius Black he's the reason Potters are dead he wants to finish things" McGonagall said "Sirius Black to this day is and was Harry Potter's godfather but rest assured he hasn't found his daughter yet either" Fudge said "Yet?" she said "Given, it being 12 years since he last saw her but one thing is for sure, she favors her mother as the day goes on" Fudge said "Well, hoping Sirius Black doesn't find her and use her to get to Harry Potter would be a miracle". Harry ran out of Three Broomsticks pub upset running into the trio out in the woods by Hogsmeade he said "He was their friend and he betrayed them, I hope he finds me I'll be ready so I can kill him" Katherine looked away given he's speaking about her father he's going after.

          Katherine in the Owl Tower she with the owls she said "i'm watched like a hawk by the professors because they believe I would lead them to my father but the thing is I would never do that because I would never betray family, I will find the one person he's been searching for, Peter Pettigrew and I will make him pay for taking my dad from me". Katherine went investigating late at night she had put two and two together Ron's pet Scabbers was Peter Pettigrew she just had to find him so she went walking down hallways of course being on the guard she could be found by  Filch or one of the professors when she heard Harry also up and walking she went to follow him to see what he's up to. She hid when Snape came upon them he caught Harry while she remained in the shadows not making a sound as she saw Uncle Remus come to the two she would make her getaway with them. Katherine saw Harry get a lecture from him and sent on his way while he saw on the map her location he said "Come on out my dear, I won't bite" she walked out of the shadows she said "I see you have the map again, Uncle Remus?" he said "It's a miracle Snape didn't see you, you're every bit like your mother on stealth" she walked up to him she said "So, Peter Pettigrew is alive?" he said "Kat, leave it alone" she said "I can't Uncle Remus, I will find him with or without you and we both know that's who my father is after not Harry" he said "You're definitely your mother" she said "Apple didn't fall far from the tree then" he said "Kat, you're risking being expelled" she said "I don't care Uncle" he said "Your mother does, and given anything your father would as well, he wouldn't want you to risk your school learning for his life" she said "Well, stubborness may run in the family then" he said "Run along to dormitory we'll discuss this later" she said "Fine" she turned to go she said "My mom never gave up on my father's innocence and I won't either" she walked out of his office.
