Fourth Year: Mother's Daughter

          Katherine enjoyed a lovely birthday in Bulgaria surround by her great-grandfather Josef and Uncle Remus and a cloaked figure her dad Sirius Black she enjoyed a lovely time with them as did her mother but it was short lived given he's a fugitive. He left with Uncle Remus but he said "Now Katherine, don't go looking for trouble" she said "Me trouble? Surely father you don't know me at all" feigning sarcasm he said "Yes, but if you're every bit like me I know you be looking for trouble" she said "Well, I can't help that my parents were riots in school and their genes were passed down to me" Remus said "She does have a point, Sirius" he said "All the more for her to focus on her school work" she said "I promise to be good if you promise to stay safe father" he said "I promise, Katherine" he hugged her and kissed her on the forehead. Watching them leave Josef greeted her he said "At least he's not rotting away in Azkaban, Katherine" she said "I know, great-grandfather it's just he's not cleared of the crimes against him" he said "You know the truth, and the truth will get out and you'll be what you always wanted, family whole" she said "Well, mother she's the one I'm worried about? The Minister has been cracking down on those that may know where he is and I don't want her to be pressured in giving away him by accident?". He took her hands he said "Katherine, your mother is strong and fierce I don't think the Ministry want to bring the Phoenix out of her it may be messy to clean up" she laughed he said "Your cousin, Viktor Krum has invited you to Quidditch Cup perhaps you should go maybe your friends may be there" she said "Trying to get rid of me aren't you great-grandfather?" he said "You deserve to be happy Katherine, and I know you will be" she said "Okay, I'll go for Bulgaria" he hugged her. 

           Katherine as Viktor Krum's guest was at the Quidditch Cup Finals she looked lovely given she looked like a rebel in leather jacket, and tight-fitted jeans with high heeled boots she ran into Lucius Malfoy with Draco Malfoy. He saw her mistaken her for Katerina Draco said "Katherine, I didn't figure you be interested in Quidditch?" she said "It just so happens I have a distant relative that's a player for Bulgaria, perhaps you've heard of him Viktor Krum?" Draco said "Yeah, I have". She seeing Lucius there trying to place her she said "You must be, Mr. Malfoy" he said "Lucius, my dear" she said "I see you're trying to place me, I'm Katherine daughter of Katerina Renoir perhaps you know her" he said "Indeed I do, how's your mum?" she said "Good, she's an exceptional businesswoman, I must go take my seat it's lovely to have met you Mr. Malfoy, see you Draco at Hogwarts". She turned to take her leave smiling wickedly as Draco was left in awe Lucius said "She surely is her mother's daughter, Draco stay clear of that one she's trouble" he said "Of course father". Katherine was reeling from shocking Draco with her rebel-style outfit she was channeling her mother and it was taking candy from a baby she promised her father she be good and not look for trouble but nothing about trouble looking for her after all she is her mother's daughter no way of denying it.

            Katherine on Hogwarts train bound for school she got two pumpkin pasties for her and Cho Chang when Harry saw Katherine he said "Katherine" she said "Harry" she paid for the items and returned to sit with Cho Chang while Harry was in awe of her. At Hogwarts they receive guests from school of Durmstrang and school of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic for the Tri-Wizard Tournament everyone saw Viktor Krum while he acknowledged Katherine and everyone was surprised. Dumbledore went on about what the tasks would be while learning no child under age of 17 would be allowed to compete in the Tournament causing an uproar with everyone. Katherine in DADA class under Alastor Moody's tutelage learning about the Unforgivable Curses: Imperius Curse, Cruciatus Curse, and the Killing Curse Katherine didn't care for her professor given everything she witnessed in class. Katherine was in Great Hall where Goblet of Fire students cast their name to be chosen she sat beside Hermione watching Fred and George Weasley try an aging spell it backfired when Viktor Krum came to put his name into the fire he looked at Katherine then at Hermione causing Hermione to blush a little. Later at the champion selection she sat beside Hermione and saw Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory, and Harry Potter shocking everyone by his name being selected as he knew the rules and must've had an older student put his name in which he denies doing so.
