Return of the Phoenix

Sixth Year: I am The Phoenix

        Katherine wasn't expected to come back to Hogwarts given everything that took place in Ministry of Magic. She had control of the phoenix by lessons from her great-grandfather Josef while Uncle Remus tried to see her and Katerina but Katerina banned any of the order from seeing them because she blamed them for Sirius' death and Katherine embracing the phoenix. Katherine hadn't written a letter to her friends because she didn't know what to say because it would all be a lie and pointless she did play with her baby brother SJ he was demonstrating his magic prowess but it wasn't the same without their father there to see Bellatrix took him from them and she will be paying for it dearly.  Harry ended up at Weasley's he spoke with Hermione and Ron about any word from Katherine Hermione said "Not a letter one" Ron said "Mum kind of said Ginny and I had no business going back to Hogwarts say it's dangerous, she understands that Katherine's family is hurting and doesn't look for her to be there either" Hermione said "Are you and Katherine still a couple?" he said "I don't know really?" Hermione said "Perhaps, you should talk to her when you get the chance".

         Katherine changed her look and style more favoring her mother she walked in Hogwarts many people came up to her complimenting her on her look some came to give her condolences she thanked them. Seeing Harry in the Great Hall she and all listened to Dumbledore's speech about change in staff with Slughorn as potions teacher and Snape as DADA for this term. In Potions class Katherine was with a group of girls Draco eyeing Katherine he had heard that Katherine and Harry may have split up before last term and figured easy pickings while Katherine just wanted to focus on schoolwork. Freshly brewed love potion Amortentia gives off a smell that's different to each person who smells it based on what they're attracted to causing a powerful infatuation or obsession may be the most dangerous potion in the room Katherine saw the girls hypnotized by the potion and glad Professor Slughorn put the top on the cauldron causing them to snap out of it. Task was to brew liquid luck she saw others fail she saw Harry doing his differently so she did like he did and everyone's failed leaving her and Harry's to actually be well done Slughorn couldn't award to two students so he gave it to Harry.

         Katherine asked to see Dumbledore she walked into his office she said "You asked for me Headmaster?" he said "Come in Katherine" she sat down he said "How are you my dear?" she said "I'm fine" he said "Classes are great?" she said "Yes they are" he said "I noticed you and Harry aren't as you were last term" she said "With all due respect headmaster, my love life is off the tables I'm just focused on schoolwork and nothing else" he said "You can't just throw yourself into schoolwork without exploring other things" she said with a smile on her face she said "I can't do anything else professor, this is my sense of control anything short I." He said "The Phoenix, you're afraid that you won't control it" she said "I have complete control it's just I'm reminded of the fact that Harry got my father killed" he said "Katherine" she said "He may not have cast the spell but he's the reason he was there, my summer was spending with my mom and baby brother isolated from everyone because the people who sworn to protect each other couldn't do that for him, so you can shove your order and Dumbledore's Army, Headmaster". She got up and walked to the door he said "Phoenix, thank you for reiterating what Katherine feels how about you let her speak it instead?" she turned to face him she said "Katherine is focused on schoolwork so let her be, while I wait my time till I get hold of those responsible for Sirius Black's death" he said "You're quite powerful but risking Katherine's life isn't the answer" she said "I am Katherine the past, the present, and the future as I was all that came before her and believe me headmaster sometimes you just have to die a little inside in order to be reborn and rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you, that's what we're doing now I have to get back to my studies unless you want to belittle me some more" he was shocked that he had nothing to say to that remark he said "Very well, return to your studies" she walked off.
