Return of the Phoenix

Fifth Year: True Self

          At Hogwarts, Katherine got wind of Umbridge closing in on Harry and them she couldn't tell him in time when they were rounded up in Umbridge's office and serving detention with torture marks on their hands. Katherine prepared to wage a war on Umbridge and her antics she figured the best way is during the OWL's exam she turned to Fred and George Weasley to make it happen. It was chaotic when the Weasley twins unleashed mayhem onto the OWL's and Umbridge Katherine smiled the papers went flying up in the air everyone went running and having fun. Katherine held Harry's hand and saw into his mind her dad being tortured by Voldemort she took off running Harry following her with Ron and Hermione Harry went on about the dream like what happened to Mr. Weasley all taking place in front of a room The Department of Mysteries Katherine said "I'm not letting my dad suffer from this imbecile?" Harry said "We won't let him die". They went to Floo Network in Umbridge's office but thwarted by Umbridge and her favors which consisted of Draco and his minions and select group of Dumbledore's Army Umbridge trying to get answers from Harry Snape came because she commanded so Katherine was listening to Umbridge wanting to use truth serurm on him and Snape out of it when she used the last on Cho Chang. Umbridge going to use the Crucio Curse on Harry Hermione said "That's illegal" she said "What Fudge don't know can't hurt him" Katherine said "Really, I'm sure letting it slip to Rita Skeeter would?" she said "Miss Katherine are you trying to blackmail me?" she said "Professor, I'm the granddaughter of John Renoir II, the position you edged him out of it" that name intrigued her mind she continued "I don't try to blackmail, I do it" she said "Is that a threat dear?" she looking at her Katherine said "You're scared that the students are revolting against you, all that power and nothing to show for it my even the cruel and rude are bound to fall" she said "Well, you dear have earned to be cursed first" she said "I wouldn't do it if I were you" the room shook and her precious cat plates started to fall off the wall Hermione said "Harry just tell her already" Umbridge said "Tell me what?" she said "You don't I will" she said "Tell me what?" Hermione said "Dumbledore's secret weapon". Katherine left with the rest while Umbridge took Harry and Hermione while Katherine and the rest got to the bridge where Harry and Hermione made it to Harry said "How?" Ron said "I said I was hungry, puking pastilles" Harry said "I can't have you all getting into trouble" Katherine said "Sirius Black is my father, I will not let him kill him without a fight" the others said "We're here for you two as Dumbledore's Army" Katherine held Harry's hand she said "Well, they wanted a war let's give them one". 
           Sneaked into the Ministry of Magic the Department of Mysteries looking for the item that Voldemort wanted a prophecy bauble where they were greeted by Death Eaters Katherine and them saw Death Eaters closing in on them she said "Stupefy". As the others did and they ran each one going after them Katherine screamed and the phoenix came out of her and swooshed gob of them back allowing for the groups escape. They went into the door and landed in another room the housed an archway where they were greeted by Death Eaters surrounded by each one Harry wanted to save them had to hand over the bauble to Lucius Malfoy to end it all Katherine saw the Order of Phoenix come and her dad Sirius he punched Lucius out thus breaking the bauble. Katherine went to fight Sirius telling Harry to get Katherine and the others out of there he said "No, I'm staying with you" he went and fought Lucius Katherine of course been thwarted but she bounced back. When Bellatrix Lestrange cast "Avada Kedavra" it hit Sirius killing instantly Katherine saw this she felt her heart break to million pieces Remus went to Harry Katherine self-destructed becoming the Phoenix losing her true-self in the process she embodied with fire glow and the Phoenix flame surrounded her made you think Jean Grey was there instead as Dark Phoenix she let out a scream that swooshed all Death Eaters about it was quite illuminating to say the least. 

            Katherine set her sights on Bellatrix she went running after her as did Harry she singsonged "I killed Sirius Black." Katherine was faster than Harry she had Bellatrix dead to rights she couldn't escape her while Harry had his wand at the ready with Voldemort in his mind telling him to finish Bellatrix off. Harry snapped out of it Voldemort knocked the wand out of Harry's hand and seeing the Phoenix in it's marvel he said "Perhaps, the phoenix could do what you can't Harry Potter". Dumbledore came to them he said "Foolish of you to come here tonight, Tom" this gave distraction to Katherine/Phoenix allowing Bellatrix to escape from her clutches. Katherine stood all fiery she watched everything pass her by replaying her father's death over and over on repeat when she realized The Aurors were on their way she had to forgo to her powers and to rest she swooshed fire about thus breaking Voldemort's concentration on Harry Potter. She fell down with burns on her body Dumbledore saw Katherine he said "Harry, Katherine" the others bent down to Katherine seeing her burns and afraid to touch her or move her he turned to see her he was able to fight Voldemort from his mind expelling him to the air where everyone saw him thus couldn't ignore him anymore. Newspapers vindicated Harry and Dumbledore while everyone was getting ready to leave for summer vacation. Katherine on the other hand had no more happiness in her she had to go home and be with her mother and baby brother in this mourning time she had recovered from her burns to outstanding specifications according to the nurse. Dumbledore tried to talk to her as she grieved she didn't want to participate she packed her stuff and came down the ever changing staircases she left before everyone else did knowing she couldn't stay there a minute longer for the pain she's feeling inside she left via carriage arranged by Dumbledore for home.
