I finally arrived at school at 9:58. I had to run from the station and had two minutes to get to my locker and then to my classroom. I ran through the hall, not caring if people saw me. There was a lot of bullying in our school, but only if your social status was revealed. If no one knew, no one could bully you about it, well mostly. Hence I casually run through the whole school, just to get to my locker. I finally got there and the bell rings. I quickly unlocked it and took a few books for class. I locked it again and ran to my classroom, which was luckily not too far away. Arriving there, I sat down in my seat and smiled. He's not here yet... Just that second, our teacher walked in. "Sorry I'm late, class. We'll be going over your assignments today and then you have free time to spend on your final project." "Okay!" The whole class responded. Everyone had a computer on his or her desk and started it up. The teacher went to the other end of the room, so I just began working on my final project again. We had to make a video game. I was developing a MMORPG, since that was what I enjoyed the most. I had worked a lot on it at home, so I was putting in my last details. My friend was still working on the base commands, where though even I had told her, that she really needed to work on it. Macy told me I just worked too much. That could be true, but I enjoyed it, so it didn't feel like 'work'.
Time passed and the teacher finally made it to me. "So Lyra, can I see your assignment?" "Yes, sir." I opened up my coding. We had to take a coding, that we got from him and correct it, but also finish it. It was very easy, so it only took a few hours. "Hmm... Nice job Lyra. That is perfect! You get an A+. Keep up the good work." Coding could be perfect, so we got high scores a lot. He was starting to walk away, but I quickly realized something. "Sir wait!" He turned around again. "Yes?" "Ehem.. Sir, I'm almost done with my final project. What can I do when I am done?" He looked surprised. "Done?!" I nod. He frowned, thinking. "I'll ask the principle if you can stay at home then, since you have no reason to come to school anymore. If any additional assignment is given, I will expect you to be in class again." I smiled. "Of course, Sir. I'll be handing in my final project at the end of the day." He nodded and walked to another person. I can stay at home! I smiled brightly. I really wanted to game more on my MMORPG, so I got even more motivation, to finish it.
