My alarm went off. 6:30 ... Ugh, I'd better get used to this ... I got up and put on some clothes. It was unexpectedly warm in Japan, but at least I had some jeans shorts. I also took a black top and a hoodie, since it should still be cold outside. I quietly walked downstairs, making sure not to wake anyone. I took some bread and a banana, for energy. I looked at the time. 7? Hm, I'm actually on time, but let's get going. I took my backpack, which contained my phone, my headset, which I put on, some gym clothes, the contract with some other papers and the key for the house. I walked to my new bicycle and got on it. I took off and rode to the train station. I was in Kyoto, but I needed to go to Osaka. The train ride almost took an hour, but the company wasn't far, so I could make it just in time.

"Hello?" I arrived at the company and it was quiet, very quiet. The instructions said to go to the seventh floor, which I did. Upon arriving, I saw a lot of scientists and a lot of people working. I just walked on, but then accidentally bumped into someone. "Ouch! I'm sorry!" The man turned around and looked at me. "Oh! You must be confused, follow me miss." I wasn't very sure, but I did as I was asked. We walked in some kind of office. "I assume you have the contract with you?" I nodded. "Yes, I do." I gave him the contract and he put it in the safe. "Now miss, with your schedule, you won't have much free time, are you okay with that?" It was silent for a second. "As I may, could I ask for a day off maybe once in a while? I'll still do a workout, to keep in shape, but then I could caught up with homework, or do the things I really need or want to do."

He nodded slowly. "Very well. That doesn't sound too bad. I am Shiro Nagasa by the way. The founder of the Augma. There's a training section on the eight floor, where someone will be waiting for you. You'll train until 10, get a rest and then keep training until 12. After that is lunch and then you'll proceed to the augma. Since that is a workout too, but not as hard, you'll spend more time there." He started to get up and I followed him, as he talked. We stopped before a monitor. "So, since we know you have a lot of homework, we're adding a feature, which you can make your homework in. If it is writing on paper, you can scan in, make it and then copy it. This function was already discussed, but we put it up as one of the first for you." I was a little suprised. "Why thank you sir." He smiled. "No problem, but let us proceed to your training area." We walked back to the elevator and went up.

"Since it is the first time, we will be taking it a bit more slower, so you'll get used- to it." I nodded. That makes sense. We walked into the gym and a woman was running. "Ehem, Nala?" She quickly stopped running and came to us. "Ahah ... Hi sir ... I-I was just testing the equipment! It's perfect!" He sighed, but with a chuckle. "Yeah yeah, now get this little one started, okay?" She smiled. "Of course!" He turned around and waved back. They seem close ... "As for you ..." She turned to me. Ack! "U-uhm, I'm Lyra Agnia. I'm the tester f-for the augma, i-it's nice to meet you." I stuttered a bit, since I didn't know what do to. I looked at her and she gave me a hug. Huh? I was very surprised. "Aww! Aren't you cute!" She let me go and realized what she'd just done, my cheeks slightly pink. "Ah! Ahah ... I'm sorry ... I always just do that ..." I chuckled. "It's fine! I don't mind!" She chuckled too. "Aren't you a real cutie?" My cheeks turned pink.

She smiled and ruffled my hair. "Let's get to work sweety." I froze and she noticed. "Lyra? Hello? Lyra?!" Tears were rolling down my cheeck. Mom ...? Nala pulled me into a hug. "Shhhhh ... It's okay ..." I came back to reality and returned the favor. I already miss her ... I missed her smiling and laughing with me. "Oh ..." I quickly dried my tears and let go. "You okay there?" I smiled soflty. "Yeah ... My mom, she just ... Always called me 'sweety' ..." Her eyes widened. "Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't know ..." I chuckled. "It's fine. It just reminded me of home a bit, but you can call me that, I really don't mind." She raised her eyebrow slightly. "Are you very sure?" I smiled brightly. "Uhu!" Now she smiled too. "Okay! Let's get to work!"
