When we arrived at their house, it was beautiful. They had a big garden and a big house. We went inside and I put on some slippers. I followed Ganin and Hiro to the living room. Celest just kept jumping around me, where I would pick her up once in a while. Jace on the other hand immediately left upstairs. "Now, Celest, would you like to go with daddy and play a bit? I need to talk to Lyra." She pouted for a second, but quickly followed Hiro to another room. "I see she's no problem?" I smiled. "Of course not! She's a real angel, I really don't mind." She sighed relieved. "That's good ... Also, you can excuse Jace. He's in his own world, caught up in some game called ... Len- ... Lenpa-to? Lenpato, I think that was it." I gasped. "What?!" "Uhm, sorry. But let's just say my scores are well at the top for that game. Maybe I could play with him!" Ganin smiled brightly. "That would be amazing darling."

I giggled at my nickname, but then I heard a footstep. It wasn't loud, but just loud enough for me to notice. "Hmm ... Jace? Why are you listening in?" Ganin looked suprised, but Jace walked the last steps up and closed his door. "H-how ...?" I chuckled. "I'm good at such things. It was very faint, but I heard a footstep." "Oh ..." She shook it off and took some papers. "So now, rules in our house." I nodded and listened carefully. "Curfew is at 10, but you can come home at 10:30, since you work until 10. No uninvited guest, always ask first. Grades and homework are shown. Everyone eats together, unless you aren't home. No electronics at the table while eating. No noise after 8, since Celest goes to bed then. Also no noise before 7, and 9 in vacation or weekends. And that should be it."

I quickly thought it over. "Oh, that isn't really bad." She chuckled. "Of course not! We're human, but now, your work." I nodded seriously. "You have morning practice from 6 to 8. At 8:30 school starts, until 16. Then you have school club until 17. You'll go home and then leave at 19 until 22. In the weekend, you'll stay there from 8 to 16. Okay?" That's a ... lot ... "Mm, I got it." She looked a little concerned. "Are you sure about this? This is a lot, like a lot. And you have school to keep up with too." I smiled. "It's okay. I have to do this." I took all the papers and left upstairs. Every room had a name tag. I saw one with mine and took my suitcase and bag into it. It was pretty plain. Just black and white, some storage and a desk and all.

"Hey." I jumped a little. Jace was standing in my doorway. "Hey." I said back. He looked at me. "I-is something wrong ...?" I asked carefully. "Hmp, how did you know I was standing there?" I tilted my head. "Oh that! Well I heard one footstep and I'm quite good at noticing that." He raised an eyebrow. "You didn't notice me just now." I sat on my bed. "Well, I was focusing at scanning the room, hmp." I rolled my eyes. Jace chuckled. My face loosened and my eyes widened. I looked at him. He was smiling at me. "So you're good at Lenpato, right?" Now I raised my eyebrow and smirked. "Hah, you'll never beat me." He looked at me with disbelief. "How can you be so certain?" I smirked and laid on my bed. "Well maybe 'cause I'm kinda the top player." His eyes widened. "What?! No way!" I found a little sarcasm in his tone. "Hey, I really am, but I don't have a pc right now. I'm going to the company tomorrow and to ask them for one, because I need it. Then we can play a bit, how 'bout that?" He chuckled. "Sure, why not." "Well!" I sat back up. "I gotta unpack ..." He rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, I'm going." He started to walk away. "Hey wait!" He turned around, with only his head through my doorway. "What?" I chuckled at the sight. "I just wanted to ask, in what year are you?" He looked a little suprised. "Oh, the second year, with you." "Oh ..." He rolled his eyes. "Bye!" I shook it off and started to unpack.
