Bradeys POV
"Who are you?" I asked again.
She looked frightened. Just then there was a banging on the door. The girl squealed and crawled over to the corner of the room. She sat there hugging her knees to her chest. Something was wrong.
I walked over to the door. I unlocked it and creaked it open. A boy my age stood at my doorstep. He had spiky brown hair and looked like her could beat me up if he wanted to.
"Can a help you?" I managed to say.
"Yeah, um hi. My names Griffin and im looking for my umm... sister." He said unsurely.
I looked over at the girl for a split second. She stared at me with pleading eyes. She kept shaking her head and she was crying.
"Nope, I havnt seen her. But good-luck finding her." with that I closed the door.
I turned to look at this girl. What is going on? I walked over to her and got down on my knees. She turned her head to look at me. Then she shuddered and fell into me. I embraced this unexpected hug and held her tight. When she stopped crying and calmed down, I spoke again.
"Can you please tell me who you are and what is going on?" I whispered gently.
"My name is Alex. About a week or so ago I was kidnapped. They hurt me and I dont wanna go back." She whispered and turned to look at me. "Please dont take me back"
"Im not going to take you back I promise."
"Whats your name?" she asked.
"Oh yeah, my names Bradey, but before I tell you about me, tell me about yourself."
"What do you want to know?"
"I dont know, like your age and where your from and stuff."
"Oh ok, well my names is Alexandra Wash, but every one calls me Alex. Im 17 and I live in Hammond, Indiana."
"Well your a long ways from home. This is Seattle, Washington"
Her mouth dropped open. She stared at my in shock. How could she not know if the transported her half way across the country.
"Wow... Well umm tell me about you" She said
"Ok, My name is Bradey Stevens and well im 18 and well I live here" I said.
Just then the door opened. Alex started panicking and put her face to my chest. Jared walked through the door carrying some groceries. When he saw me and Alex on the floor he dropped everything.
"What the hell?" He said confused.
"Calm down, your scaring her." I whispered.
She lifter her head to look at Jared. He just stood there staring at her with a confused look on his face. Time to do a little explaining.
"Umm, well this is Alex. Alex, this is Jared. Hes one of my room mates."
She just nodded and stood up. I got up after her and stood there awkwardly.
"Well then. Umm hi Alex. Mind if I have a word with Bradey real quick?" Jared asked
"No, go ahead, Im sure its weird for you guys to have me here unexpected." She mumbled and walked off into the living room.
Jared grabbed my arm and pulled me into the kitchen.
"What is going on?" He whispered harshly.
(Bradey explains everything that just happened. Sorry, im to lazy to write it)
"Wow..." he mumbles when I finish telling him.
"So lets let her stay here." I suggest.
" Yeah, but what about Ace?"
Oh crap. I forgot about Ace. Hes out third room mate and when it comes to girls he can be a little aggressive.
"We can talk to him. Tell him to leave her alone. He'll listen to us." I responded
Alex the walked into the kitchen.
"Oh umm sorry..." She mumbled
"No its ok say. We've decided to let you stay with us for a while." Jared said.
Her face lit up with happiness. Im so glad Jared agreed to this. Suddenly, Alexes phone started to ring.
"H-Hello?" she answered
He face went pale. I couldnt her what the other person was saying, but I could tell it wasnt good. Im not going to let any one hurt her. I will protect Alex with my life.
"It was them" she whispered as she turned off her phone. "they said there coming for me." and with that she fell to the floor crying.
