P.O.V Josh

The weekend was so great with Jennifer. I mean, it could have been better but the car broke down and we climbed a hill instead. But, being with Jen just makes me so happy. When Im with her time goes so quickly. I was even happier when she excepted my invitation to prom, so now I have something to look forward to in the future.

Monday mornings are always the hardest for me usually. However, I got out of bed fine this morning. Jennifer is the main reason I get out of bed now. I run downstairs to find my mum in the kitchen helping Connor with his homework.

"Good morning Josh. Did you sleep okay?" Mum asked politely.

I took a carton of milk out of the fridge. "Yeah, great actually. Mum, I'm going to meet Jennifer now so I'll see you after school" I said sipping on the carton.

"Okay dear, be good please" She sighed as I walked away. I grabbed my bag and skateboard and left the house. I made my way to the coffee shop on my skateboard while finishing the carton of milk.

I chucked the carton in the bin next to my girl as I passed it. I made her jump when she noticed me there. I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.

"Its not funny, Josh! You scared the hell out of me!" Jen exclaimed slapping my chest. I jumped off my skateboard and put it in my bag before we entered the coffee shop.

We walked up to the cashier and got ready to order. "Hey, could I have a hot chocolate and a chocolate fudge cake and my girl here would just like a hot chocolate. Thanks" I ordered.

"So, how did you do at soccer yesterday?" Jen asked leaning on the counter.

"It was alright... We drew with the other team though. I wish you could've came" I mumbled. Jennifer looked down and twitched her lips.

"I wish I could have too... It was my brothers birthday and he probably would have killed me if I wasn't there" Jennifer sighed guiltily. I brushed the back of my hand on her cheek.

"Don't worry, just remember to come next time" I winked and turned round to get our orders. I handed over the money and left the shop hand in hand with Jennifer.

As we got closer to school, I sipped on my hot chocolate. The cake was for my good friend Sam as it is his birthday. Jennifer couldn't stop talking about prom and how excited she was for it. Unfortunately it was still ages away. I couldn't wait to see her in her dress and looking even more beautiful than she already is, if that's possible.

In the common room Jenifer and myself sat with her friends, Max and Jena. They seemed very distant with me, but I wasn't going to start a fight over nothing.

"Lets get to lesson then, baby girl" I whispered in Jennifer's ear as I stood up. Jennifer stood and waved to her friends. "What was wrong with them?" I shook my head.

"No idea... Just ignore them. They're just jealous" Jen giggled and kissed my cheek. I turned my head to kiss her perfect lips. When our lips touched my lips tingled. Small moans escaped her lips as the kiss deepened.

"Dot you need to get to class?" Someone grunted from behind us. I realised that I had pushed Jennifer up against the lockers and I was gripping onto her waist. I let go of Jen and turned around to see Jena and Max frowning.

"Err... Yeah" Jennifer exhaled, her face going beetroot red. I took hold of her hand and led her to our first class. English. Mr.Hensley knew we had glued him to his chair but chose not to give us detention. I'm not sure why exactly, but he didn't.

We walked through the classroom door and found two seats next to each other. The only two seats available were right at the back. Jennifer led the way to the seats and took her books out of her bag. I copied her and took mine out too. As soon as Mr.Hensley stepped through the door I knew this lesson was going to take a long time.
