P.O.V Josh

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays I have to train for two hours for soccer. For my training routine, I have to run for an hour.

I'm just running through the streets around my home when I find Jennifer weeping on the pavement. I run as fast I can to her.

I reach for her and try pulling her up from her crouching position, but she rips my hands off of her. I jump back when she try slapping my legs. What the fuck is wrong with her? I understand girls get periods, but really?...

"Get away from me!" Jennifer screams as I try again to lift her.

I throw my hands up defensively. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I spit. Jennifer looks up at me and glares murderously into my eyes. I feel uncomfortable under her stare so I look away hesitantly. That's when I notice Jena sitting outside a house on the stairs. "What did you say to her?" I shout accusingly.

"I didn't do anything, Josh. You did and without even noticing it like usual" Jena hisses as she stands up to go inside.

I run up the porch, I grab hold of Jena carefully just before she runs inside. "What did you say to her?" I mutter angrily. Jena rolls her eyes and looks away.

"I told her the truth, Josh. I couldn't keep it from her, it wasn't right of me" Jena grumbles quiet enough so Jennifer cannot hear us.

I sigh loudly. "Why did you tell her about that? It was just a two-day fling, Jena. You know what you wanted out of those couple of days and you remember how you dumped me because I didn't feel up for it" I grunt back as she chuckles under her breath wickedly. "You know what, I'm not even going to worry about this stupid misconception. Jennifer, Baby Girl, you believe whoever you want to believe, but honestly you have completely judged me like everyone else. I'm gonna start my training off again" I sigh as I jog past Jennifer.

As I'm running down the streets, I can feel myself getting more and more angry. Jennifer is supposed to be my girlfriend, she shouldn't be thinking of me like a player. I feel rain begin to splatter down from the skies. Puddles begin surfacing the ground, making me splash as I run through them.

I approach my house and cant wait to just sit down. I've been running for about an hour and a half, way over what I should normally. But, the anger inside me just kept me going. I weakly shuffle through the house, grab a chocolate bar and milkshake before climbing the stairs tiredly. I drop onto my bed and let out a deep breath.

I peel open the chocolate bar wrapper and take a bite out of it. While munching on the candy, my mobile phone begins to vibrate on my bedside table. I groan as I sit up to see who it is calling me. Jennifer.

I snap open my phone and put it to my ear. "Jennifer?" I sigh.

"Hi, Josh. Can we meet up? Like at the coffee shop or something?" Jennifer asks. As much as I dreaded the thought of having to go outside again, I would for my girl.

"Yeah, I'll see you in the coffee shop. See you in ten?" I wonder.

"Yeah, see you in ten" Jennifer repeats.

I sigh before speaking again. "Jennifer, I love you... You know that don't you?" I take the risk. This could either go one way or the other. No matter what, I wouldn't ever regret saying those three words: 'I love you'.

"We will talk in a bit. See you in a while crocodile" Jen laughs silently before hanging up.

P.O.V Jennifer

I enter the coffee shop, wiping the water droplets off my forehead and waving to my dad who dropped me off. I look around for Josh and finally spot him at the back next to the window. I shift between the chairs and tables to reach him and sit down on the seat opposite him. I smile at him sympathetically. His hair is still soaking from the rain and his jumper is damp hanging over his stiff shoulders.
