I'm in bed and
I'm not getting up
Because I know
That every day

Is one more day

It's like I'm stuck
In a hole with walls of water
Getting out isn't an option
Because the ocean I'm in is your eyes
But I can't focus when all I can see through them is her
Your teeth stab into my hand like your words stab into my heart
You scream at the horror film
While I laugh and lean into you
But you're really just expressing how you feel when you see her
And her boyfriend
And I'm just expressing how I feel
When I see you
And the best part
Oh the very best part
Is when I plan how my life with you starts
And you ask how your plans with her should
And the best part

Is when I can feel the hope leave my body
Like a soul leaving the world
Everything gets numb
And everything gets dark
And everything gets lifeless
And I give up on you
