My head is like a concert
Hundreds of things
And people
All trying to be
Heard at onceWhen you pull
My sleeve to tell
Me a secret
There are parts of me
Proudly dancing
Singing songs played in summer
And flutes in my earsAnd there are parts that are
wailings violin playing their sad medley
Or a unrehearsed choir
A Christmas song about a lost soulAnd they all play at once
And I stay silent
I stay silent as you wait for a response
And you think I just don't care about
How she's exposing herself
In that skirt
Or that one kid who
Is off keyBut I want to giggle
And sing
And proudly show you off
As a friendBut the concert in my head is resulting
In a mouth filled with silence
And I wouldn't dare speak
With my mouth full

PoetryYeah love sucks but I guess it's good inspiration (I started this book in 2017 so it starts a little rough, but my writing has improved a lot over time and I like seeing the progress so im leaving the earlier work)
