I remember the first time
Her face glazed my screen
I remember freezing up
The pit in my stomach told me all the words that could explain
But I told myself it lied
Forward to now
I've broken down
As many times as you've announced your love
Why her?
Why that girl
What makes her laugh so special?
What made you love her and not me?
What about this plain girl made you change?
I threw my line and you took the bait
And left me empty handed
But her.
The one girl I would rather break than see
