She stands by the waters edge, the sea tickling her feet with their cold intrigue
the air is soft and calm, as is she
and in her youth, she walks forward
the hands she holds grip tighter, despite her efforts to fall back
clouds roll in behind her, hesitant and sad, as is she
and in her youth, she divesdeeper and deeper into the sting of the ocean
she blinks back salty tears until her breathe is no more
and in her efforts to swim, the hands grip tighter and tighter
anchors of demise, they lay her on the se floor and have their way
and only after she is drained of color do they leave her,
in her youth, she layshe lay for years, binding to the sea floor
hope lost, yet so close
until the storm finally hit, a hand will stretch from the darkness
an open hand, waterlogged as well
yet she binds to the sea of hate, despite her efforts
despite the love of the reaching hand
she is anchored to him until she breathes her first breathe with another
but now, she locks eyes with a hand holding the power to start it all over again-=+=-
sooo i havent written much in the last 6 months, and maybe its because im finally not heartbroken, but everything's been coming back to me recently, so here i am i suppose
