Run
As far
As we can
As hard
As we can
He will not
Get us
Sweat forms pearls
On our foreheads
Our pants
Are not more
Than just a few threads
It's dark
We can not
See far ahead
We will not
Be caught
But flee
Instead
We're nearly there
At the end
The end of the forest
Close to freedom
Smiles form
On our faces
Lights burn
In our eyes
And then
In front of us
The one
We've been fleeing for
The one
That will kill us
The one
That takes us back
After some time
We escape
Once again
So then
We run
As far
As we can
As hard
As we can
As he will not
Get us

Author's note:
So this 'poem' is based on a nightmare I've had for years that kept coming back, it's basically that a friend and I are imprisoned by a group of vampires. We escape and run and run but finally they get us, it kept repeating again and again. Don't have it anymore but ya know, I still remember it :)
