since the day michael found out that peschk was dead, he kept one thing in his mind, he loved her.
he loved her more than anything, more than she loved him; it just took longer than her to realize than he loves her, endlessly.
he didn't talk for these past two years, yet he managed to talk at his graduation.
michael knew deep down, that peschk was proud of him, that he was finally graduating college and planning to have a masteral degree soon. on his graduation, he spoke his valedictorian speech.
"this day, there is one person that i would like to thank; that person is peschk. she was the one who said that i was worth it, she was the one who said i can do it, she was the one who made me feel special and whole.
sadly to say, she isn't here in sydney right now, but i know she is in my heart, where she will be forever.
she deserved the world, but the world doesn't deserve her. she was precious and loved, while the world was mean and abusive. i love her.
loving her isn't just loving her.
it's discovering who she is, breaking through barriers, seeing imperfections not like others, seeing her inner beauty, and learning the truth of sacrifice.
i once said a little over two years ago, "what can i do to repay all the kindness and love you gave me?" of course she didn't reply because she was speechless; but she did leave a note.
she said there that, "you have to be a great man in order to repay me."
and for her, i graduated college.
for her i will have my masteral degree.
for her i will live.
she said to me once, "you're the reason i live."
and now, she's the reason i'm living."
michael had a standing ovation that night and his parents were so proud of him.
he loved her, she loved him. they loved each other.
and they still will; until the day after forever.
