it's better
jungkook has been acting strange.
but not bad strange,
just a weird strange.
every time i put my hand on him,
he gets red all over.
and when i laugh,
he smiles a shy smile and his face gets pink.
he has been smiling a lot more.
and i don't think he's smiling because he's hurting,
no, i think he's smiling because he's happy.
there haven't been any new scars,
and he has been wearing short sleeves.
whenever the school day ends,
we agreed to meet at the back of the school.
he grabbed both of my hands between his,
and looked me straight in the eye.
he smiled, and he said "thank you."
he hugged me today,
and squeezed my hand.
and just as i was going to pull away,
he stood on his tip-toes
and kissed my cheek.
