today, my teacher told the class we should write everyday. because something important might happen one day, and we want to remember every detail! she told us writing is important, and being a good writer is even more important.

so today, she handed us composition books. the books with the black and white pattern along the cover, speckled all over. she told us to write when we get home from school, or whenever we have free time. and she told us to write everything, no matter how personal. that's because nobody will read it, unless we want them to, of course!

i didn't know what to write, so i asked her what i should write. she told me, every day i can write a poem. i'm not very good at poems, but i like the idea. rhyming is too hard, so i'm going to write poems how i want to write them.
