Dereks POV

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I looked to my side to see no Caroline. She's probably in the bathroom. I looked for my phone and found it on the side table with a note on it.

Derek, Don't worry about me. Caroline xo

What the hell. Where did she go. I got up and found the sweatpants and my t-shirt on the floor. Her phone was gone. I called her but no answer. I called her over a million times. I'm really starting to get worried. I'm starting to worry a lot. I got a phone call. I looked at my phone to see if it was her. No luck just my mom, or whatever.

"What?" I hissed. "Derek please come home. Your father and I are very worried avout you. So please come home son we miss you." "I'm not in the mood and dont call me your son again." "Just please come home" "I don't have to I'm turning twenty soon remember" "Look Derek it's about your biological parents" I felt like the air was knocked out of me. I could barely talk but I got out the words with my last normal breath. "I'll be right there." I choked out." I got out of the room to find Mason. Great.

"Hello Mr." "Please call me Mason son." "Mason I came to check on Caroline but she's gone and I'm very worried." "Oh my Caroline she needed fresh air. She looked so sad and I let her go out. I've encountered this situation before. It's usually when she needs to reales some stress out." "Where did she go?" "She said she was going to the park downtown." "Thank you so much. Tell me if she shows up." "Any time son. Have a great day." You too S-Mason" I headed downstairs to the front door and walked outside. I went across to my house. To my hell I don't want to see neither of them or this house.

I hesitated but opened the door. I walked slowly and found Diana and John sitting at the couch. I refuse to call these people my parents.

"Come sit." John said. I walked dragging my feet to the couch across from them.

"What?" I asked giving them a look of no interest.

"We found your biological parents and we have some news for you Derek." Diana started and John continued. "Don't freek out Derek and don't start one of your stupid actions."
