Twenty: I'm not going anywhere

I opened my eyes and rubbed them from the bright sunlight to see a sleeping Jason in my arms. I looked at my phone to notice that I have slept all night here. Jason moved a little and I stroked his flawless face. How could someone look so beautiful? I kissed his cheek and he moved a little reacting to it.

I heard a knock on the door and then it opened slightly. Derek came in with a big bag of McDonald's.

"I brought breakfast." Derek set the bag on the table and sa on the uncomfortable chair that was next to the bed.

"How is he?" He looked at Jason and smiled. "He's alright. He's been sleeping since I came in here a couple hours ago."

"That's good." "What did you tell them about the stab?" "A little mishap. Jason and I were walking in an alley and he got stabbed."

" Ahh. That's good. Don't you ever feel guilt for lying?" "To tell you the truth Caroline. No. I got used to it since everyone, all they have ever done is lie to me. So by now it's nothing." "Oh." Jason started to move a little too much and started saying my name and how sorry he was. He started yelling and cursing at himself. He was moving from side to side and Derek hold him down with worry. I caressed his face and told him to calm down but he just kept ob saying sorry.

"I'm right here Jason. I'm not going anywhere." Jason woke up panting and started crying. I patted his back and he looked at me. I smiled at him and he started crying again.

"I thought you were gone. I thought you were dead because of me. I love you Caroline. Don't ever leave me."

"I'm not going anywhere Jason. I love you." "Promise me you'll never leave. Promise me." "I promise baby. I promise I'll stay forever. " He hugged tight and I wrapped my hands around his neck. I kissed his neck gently and he moaned at the affect I had on him. He pulled away and his cheeks were a shade of red. I giggled and kissed his lips. The kiss deepened when Jason touched my face. I pulled away and he leaned his forehead against mine our noses touching. He then sobbed in pain and I laid him on the uncomfortable hospital bed.

"How are you doing babe?" "I'm all good. Just a little pain." I called the nurse and she gave him more pain medication.

"Thank you." Jason said in a raspy voice. "You welcome honey. If you all need anything just let me know." "Alright. Thank you so much again." Derek replied and grabbed the bag of breakfast. After we all ate and Jason ate half of mine since he was still hungry we watched a movie. Jason only had to stay another day here and he was being a pain in the ass of how much he wanted to leave now. I needed a shower and new clothes. I gave jason a long kiss and he pouted because he didn't want me to leave him.

"I'll be right back baby. I'll pick up some clothes for you and go and take a shower. I have to let my parents know what happened too." "Ok. Just be careful baby. I love you" "I love you too baby." I walked out the door with Derek. We walked to the elevator.

I got in the truck and Derek did as well. He started driving to my house. Which was only twenty minutes away. After a long drive the truck came to a halt and I told Derek to come by when he was ready. I got out of the truck and went into the house to my two worried parents.

"Where were you Caroline?" I sat there remembering everything that happened last night.

"Answer us Caroline." "Fine you really want to know mom. Jaso. got stabbed and Derek came to get me and we rushed him to the hospital. He lost a ton of blood mom." My mom sat down and covered her mouth. "Oh my God. Honey what happened? Is he alright?" "He's fine now mom. Be just suffered a bad wound and loss of blood. But he's alright and that's all that matters." I got up and went into my room.

After I got out of the shower I felt someone starring at me. I turned around vut no one was there. I remebered Derek was probably stalking and I walked to the balcony to check but he wasnt there. I went back and changed into some jeans and a red shirt. I put on my converse. I looked behind me when I felt eyes on me again but didn't see anyone. I got up and brushed my hair into a braid. That frightening feeling rushed over me again and I looked behind me. Before I got the chance to look back I felt black take over my eyes and a sharp pain from behind my head.

I remebered how I felt before. Terrified and empty. Empty darkness.
