"Well, Where to start..." Shrek said, his voice dull. "Well, let's start with the kids. They're all around 13 or so now, and it's so hard to keep up with them. they always want new stuff, and if we don't let them have it, they just storm out, or throw around a bunch of things like "I hate you!" or "You don't even love me!" Also, since we had the kids, since there's no place for them to go so I can be alone with Fiona, I haven't got some in years. I've just been so stressed, and now, Fiona just blames everything on me. "It's your fault we have these damn kids!" or "Why did YOU have to get me out of the tower?! I'd probably be better off alone!" She's even tried to kick me out of my own home... So see? Everyone has problems." Shrek said, tears beginning to flow from his eyes. it smelled slightly of onions. "It's really that bad...? Wow... Are you okay, Shrek...?" Shrek just cried for a minute, before responding. "No, I don't think I'm okay, Barry... This is all such a strain, but I have to stay, because I know what it's like to lose a parent growing up, and I don't want my kids to be subjected to that..." Shrek then just sat there and cried. Barry now felt really bad to have brought his problems to Shrek, when he was already suffering so much... Barry then flew up, and gave Shrek a hug on the nose. "Huh? What are you doing?" Shrek hadn't received a loving gesture for so long...and it felt...nice. Shrek then lifted a hand, and hugged Barry back with a finger, careful not to squish him in the process. They stayed like that for a few minutes, until Shrek finally moved his hand, so Barry could move again. "That was...really nice, Barry..." Shrek said, having calmed down. "I enjoyed it too..." Barry replied, sounding almost drowsy. He could barely control himself before either of them noticed, their lips were less than a centimeter apart, and then Barry closed the space, by placing a sweet, and tender kiss on Shrek's lips. Shrek was in shock, but soon returned the kiss, and he felt a strange warm tingle crawl up to his face. Barry finally realized what he was doing, and quickly pulled back. "O-Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I-I uh... Oh, jeez!" Barry, almost shouted, his face entirely red. "No...It's okay, Barry..." Shrek replied, looking away shyly. "It...is?" Barry said, surprised. "Yeah...If you want, we could...um...do it...again?" Shrek responded as the blush started spreading to more of his face. With barely any hesitation, Barry went back, and kissed him again, but this time, they stayed for longer, only separating once they needed air. "That was...amazing..." Barry said, gazing deep into Shrek's endless brown eyes. "I think so too..." Shrek replied, gazing into Barry's sea blue eyes, like they could wash all his troubles away. "Hey Barry, do you think you could come over again sometime? We can keep visiting, since I need to stay for my kids, but maybe we could be... together?" Shrek said. "I'd be happy to!" Barry said, and hugged Shrek again. "Well, you should be going. It's been more than "just a minute", and I don't want Fiona to get suspicious." Shrek said a bit sadly. "Well, I'll be sure to visit again very soon!" Barry said, before flying out an open window to go back home. Shrek then went back out, and joined his family.
