Jace's POV.
I make my way to Will's room after I leave my room. Peeking my head into the door I see him on his bed.
"Hey." I say to get his attention. He turns his head to look at me and a smirks grows on his face.
"So you and Oliver, huh?" he asks me. I feel my face flush and I don't quite know how to respond to that.
"Um, I uh- well we're, uh, I guess. Maybe. I don't know." I say sighing. What are we anyway? He just laughs and gestures for me to come in, so I do. I take a seat on his bed sitting criss cross. "So what did you want to ask me anyway?" I ask, desperate to change the topic.
"That can wait." I groan and fall backwards. "But I know what we can talk about instead." he says, still smirking, and wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Can we not?" I ask, well more like state. It didn't really come out as a question.
"Oh come on. I just walked in on you two cuddling and sleeping together. You have to tell me what's going on. Pllllleeaaaasssseee?!" he says slash begs. I groan again.
"I don't know what's going on between us." I tell him honestly.
"How can you not know? Are you guys together?" he asks me.
"I don't know. Maybe? Well I never asked him out so probably not." I say.
"You two cuddle and kiss and sleep together, but you're not together." he states rolling his eyes at me.
"How do you know if I kissed him or not?" I ask.
"You're sweater was a nice cover up but I saw one of his hickeys. I'm assuming there was a lot more if he had to borrow one of you're sweaters, since he has some of his own. His just aren't as covering." he tells me and I blush. I cover my face with my hands to hide it.
"Oh shut up." I tell him.
"How rude!" he exclaims jokingly. "But for real, do you like him?" he questions. I sit back up and look at him.
"Of course I do. I wouldn't do that stuff with him if I didn't." I state obviously.
"Then ask him out." he states mimicking my tone. "It's obvious that he likes you too. He's always staring at you and you're the first one to make him smile, a real smile, not a fake one. Don't be stupid."
"I'm not being stupid. But what if he doesn't really like me? What if he's just lonely and doesn't want to actually be together?" I ask him.
"Are you serious? You think he would do that. I don't even need to know him to know that he's too cute and innocent to do that. Just ask him out. It'll make him happy, I'd bet you on that." he tells me.
"I can't believe that I'm confiding in you and getting relationship advice from you." I tell him. We both laugh at that.
"I know, right. But hey, I gave some good advice. A simple thank you would be payment enough." he says with a smile. I laugh again at his humor.
"Thank you, really." I say. Then I remember he had something to ask me when he came into my room. The start of this whole thing. "So what was it that you wanted to ask me?" I ask him.
"Oh yeah. I get to go onto a pass and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me. It's supervised by a staff but we get to go do something fun of our choice." he tells me.
"Why me?" I ask him. He looks at me confused.
"Huh?" he questions me.
"Why me? I've only been here a few weeks and we barely know each other. Why not pick one of your friends here?" I ask again. "I mean, I'm happy you asked me and Id love to go, but why me?"
