Drake's POV

I saw how her eyes showed distaste and anger and that seems to be pricking my heart with a thousand of needles. I know it was all my fault to start with but hearing it from her-- i never thought I'd be hurt this bad. I felt so hollow from the inside. I feel like I'm a soulless person. Why? She's the only girl who filled my heart with happiness and she gave me the will to live eversince I was inside the technology of Glitch.

Without her, I might be dead by now. Without her immediate action of reaching my family and the whole empire, I'd be six feet under the ground mourned by my parents. What am I going to do with my life? I can't live without her, I can't fathom leaving her and I know that there are still a lot of things to expect.

The REDS are the most terrible empire. And what's more dangerous is that, they doesn't follow agreements. I wanted to ask Aedelle if the REDS contacted her and tell her not to believe in their words. That's the reason why I didn't pursue Sanna, (my past fiancè).

I saw how tears started to form on her eyes. She's the girl whom everyone wanted me to marry.

"Yes Drake. I do" she said happily and I smiled. Hugging her.

Sanna Redsiklon. The only daughter of the leaders of the Reds Empire.

Everything's going all too well. Our wedding was planned and the date was set. I love her the moment I set my eyes on her. She's the prettiest girl I've ever seen.

The YuHeiress Empire and the REDS Empire are two highest ranking clans of assassins in the whole world. Our family signed a treaty that the two clans will combine once the two of us get married making it the most powerful and influential among all.

Everyone is excited. Even I myself is excited but before that night happened.

I woke up and checked my bedside clock only to see that it was 2:36 in the morning. I made my way to the kitchen to drink water when I overheard people talking.

"Just continue with the act Sanna. Just a little more time and we can dispose the YuHeiress Empire." I recognized the voice. It was Dr. Samuel Redsiklon the head leader of the REDS.

"Dad I dont think it's a good idea." And it was Sanna. I clenched my fist as I continue eavesdropping to their conversation.

"After the YuHeiress sign the merging of our companies, we can freely sneak on their technology and company. Then puff~ The Reds will arise." And Samuel laughed like a demon.

Then this whole marriage thing is a frontline for a selfish crime that they are planning huh? I couldn't help but get furious I wanted to kill.

I made my way back to my room and secretly contacted our whole empire, my mom and dad and my sneaky sister Tess.

We planned an immediate escape for me because I stayed on the Reds Territory three days before the wedding. I left a note for Sanna saying," Thank you for the act Sanna. You're such a good actress that I despise so much."

I successfully escaped the place feeling so traitored. I'm so lost, the woman I was about to marry is aiming to sweep our empire out which is a wrong move. I despise her and her clan.

And that is where the war between the Reds and the YuHeiress Empire started. The Reds cant accept that I refused the wedding. Ofcourse they dont want Sanna to marry someone on lower clans because so far, I am the best candidate because I'm the only YuHeiress son.

And today is another story. She's the girl who saved me from the hell of a technology, she's the bravest girl I ever known, she's the prettiest and can be a badass at times. I love her so much and my heart is breaking remembering the hatred in her eyes. Aedelle cured all the wounds I kept inside. She accepted me for who I am and her family welcomed me warmly even it means risking their lives. And now one life is at risk. Aedon is in dangerous situation now. A really dangerous one because the Reds have him.

Aedon is very important to Aedelle. I will do everything I can to take him back alive even if it means risking my own life. I can't afford having Aedelle despise me. What's important to her is equally important to me too.

My phone suddenly beeped.

Fr: General McKenshin
Let us discuss something. Come to my office ALONE.

I heaved a heavy sigh and contacted my most trusted assassin agent.

After few rings, he picked up the phone.

"Whatever you need just state the details." was all he said.

"I need a car immediately." I said as I gave him my current location.

After few minutes, a brand new sports car parked in front of me. The driver gave me the key and I thanked him.

As I made my way towards the McKenshin's place--- I made up one decision. If they wont work with me, I'll do the work alone.

For Aedon.

And especially for Aedelle.
