CHAPTER 9

"Hija, please have dinner with us. And you too Aedon." Tyranny invited.

"Thank You very much for the kind invitation Tyranny but our Mom warned us to be back before midnight." Aedon explained.

"Oh, no need to worry Aedon. I already called your Mom earlier." Tess said as she winked.

"And she agreed?" I ask. Unbelievable.

"Yes yes. I just told her that we are your boyfriend's family and then you and Aedon came to visit." she explained while a smug smile escaped her lips.

"Follow me." Tess said as she made her way to the staircase.

I followed her and halted in front of a room.

"And may I ask what are we doing in front of this purple closed door?" I asked her.

"Just wait til you see what's in the inside!" She winked at me while giggling.

She pushed the door open and as my brain process all the things that are in front of me, my mouth literally hang open.

The floor was covered with black carpet. The walls are painted with white, sky blue and gray. The glass window is facing a greenhouse from the outside. There is a king sized bed and a lampshade beside it and a small pool with bubbling water at the far left corner of the room.

I scanned the room and there are guns, swords, katanas and daggers of different sizes are attached on the wall.

"Welcome to Drake's room Aedelle." Tess said as she put her hands on my shoulder while admiring her brother's room.

"Wow." is the only word that I can say.

"Indeed a WOW. He designed this room himself."

"Really? Is he an engineer? interior designer? an architect?" I asked.

"Let's just say, all of the above. Drake studied engineering and architecture major in Interior Designing." she explained.

"Can I take some shots?"

Tess nodded and I started capturing angles of his room. I saved it all on a single album and named it, "Masterpiece"

"You done?" asked Tess.

I nodded and we decided to go back downstairs where Aedon helps in preparing the dinner. He volunteered.

Tyranny and Connor were both seated already. They give us warm smiles while Aedon also took a seat just beside me.

The maids started putting different dishes on the dining table and we started filling our plates with different menus.

Only the sounds of clanking utensils can he heard in the dining room before Connor decided to break the silence.

"So Aedelle, what do your parents do?"

"Ahm, My Dad leads the US Military because he is the General while my Mom run our company, the McKenshin Inc."

Connor Mikhail nodded his head.

"So what about you? What's your course in college? And same with you Aedon."

"I study Business Management sir. I am more than willing to help mom with our company." Aedon answered.

"I study Medicine. I just wanted to be a Doctor." I replied shortly.

"Nice choice ofcourses though." Connor Mikhail commented. Tess and Tyranny wiggled their brows to both Aedon and me.
