CHAPTER 27

DRAKE'S POV

I was staring at the sparkling chandeliers inside my room while lying on my head with arms crossed at the back of my head.

My eyes diverted on my bedside table and my heart flattered as I stare at a woman's picture inside a frame. She looks so funny with french fries stuffed on her small mouth and eyes bulging on it's socket. Her picture made me smile.

I sighed.

I shoudn't have left her on the shop.

I gathered all my thoughts and focused on why's.

Why did I left her there?

It is because I got annoyed from the very first place. Everything seems to be running good before the guy named Jacob came. She said she like the guy but she couldn't even answer me when I asked her about us. I don't hate Jacob but I am a little bit bothered.

And whose fault Drake?

Okay I admit. Mine.

I already told Aedelle before that I am very willing to wait for her and won't rush her even if it will take a lifetime.

I really shouldn't have left her with that guy. I am not a Yu Heiress for nothing. I just acted coward and stupid.

After talking to myself, I got up from my bed to change into fresh set of clean clothes. I am going to get Aedelle back and say sorry to her.

I got my care keys and was ready to exit my room when I heard my call ringtone. It was Aedelle's twin brother-- Aedon.

I answered it right away.

"What do you need Aedon?"

"I thought you are going to drive Di home?"

Yes that was really my plan but shit happened. And anyway she's with Jacob. I know that the guy will happily drive her home.

"She's with her friend." I replied shortly.

There was a short silence on the other line and I just waited for him to say something or what.

"Ah. Yeah Jacob drive her home and she's drunk. Actually they are on her room right now. Maybe attending her while she's not on her normal state. And maybe doing some,-"

Drunk? Why is she drunk! They are in the Ice Cream Parlour not a fucking bar! I remembered her saying something I couldn't understand before I leave and I clearly saw pain in her eyes but I ignored it because I was blinded by my annoyance.

My breathing didn't calm down and I just noticed that my fist are tightly balled and clenched.

My eyes landed on my phone and I didn't notice that I violently threw it on the wall causing the parts to separate.

I tried to calm myself but I can't.

Aedelle is drunk and Jacob is with her! We will never know until when will that Jacob reveal his true identity! We don't know if he is some sort of sexually in need maniac and who knows if he is drunk too?

And the fact that he is inside Aedelle's room triggered the logics inside my brain.

I have see Aedelle!

I travelled the circular stairs of our mansion with extra speed. As soon as I get inside my car, I stepped into the gas and almost made my sports car fly!

Commonly it will take me ten minutes to reach the McKenshin's place but I literally drive fast and instantly reach the place within five minutes.

I entered the elevator and pressed the button to fifth floor where Aedelle's flat is. The elevator opened and I nearly stumble at a man holding a vacuum cleaner. Oh, he's the janitor assigned on this floor I guess.
