"D-drake?"

"Senna"

I almost didn't recognize her. She's wearing the Redsiklon's official assassin suit. Her hair color also changed. She look nothing like the Senna I once knew.

"Long time no see Drake but before anything else, let's leave this place. This isn't the place you're suppose to come." she said in a hurried tone.

She was about to exit the door when I tightly grabbed her arm. Aedon must be somewhere inside all the doors here or maybe in the basement or the cellar.

She flinched. I know I'm hurting her hand but I have to fulfill my promise to Aedelle. Bring Aedon back safe and sound.

I expect her to fight but she look at me straight in the eyes and said, "They're after your girl."

It seemed as though I was splashed with cold water. I've known Senna enough to know when she's serious or not.

"What do you mean?" I teethed out.

"I'll explain on the way. They sent a different message to that girl. It's a trap Drake."

We made our way to the pebbled road and I left a signal for Bintri. A signal to stay in that place.

Senna drives a motorbike and I rode on the car I use on my way. She gave me an earpiece before driving off.

"Explain fast." I said.

The sound that came out of the earpiece is a little distorted because of the noise from the motorbike blending with her voice.

"You've got the wrong idea Drake. We know you've been eyeing our clan but we got nothing to do with anything that's going on. It's not us." she explained.

Her motorbike turned left and I didn't recognize the road we're driving in.

"What about Aedon."

"Oh, him? You don't have to worry about him he's in a safe place. I was able to lure some bastards out and saved that man you're calling Aedon."

"Why would I believe you. You fooled me once."

There's no sense asking that question but it just came out.

I heard her heave a deep sigh.

"Recently, our system was hacked by a group of expert hackers and they've been manipulating our system up until now. The government suggested us to not use the same system so we changed satellite too. If there's anything sent to you by the Reds it's not us anymore. Dad told me to do this right. We're truly sorry for what happened before you know."

"Any idea who did it?"

"Oh yes. We are after those bunch of elites."

"Another assassin clan?"

"No. But surprise! It's the Mirunawa Corporation. They're planning another version."

"Version of what?" I am getting anxious. I tried contacting Aedelle before setting off but she can't be reached.

"That virtual medium. They are planning to use your girl in the experiment. See if it will work. Our researcher analyst hypothesized that Greñus Mirunawa seeks revenge. Her daughter died during the US Missile Bombing in Japan where you are rescued."

My grasp on the steering wheel tightened. Aedelle will be safe right? At this very moment, she has to be in her room. Locked and safe with her high security system.

But if the Mirunawa Co managed to hack an assassin's system, they could also do it to any security coded buildings.

I retrieved my necklace and searched for the small pendant. By clicking this, it will directly send a signal to the Yu Heiress system and they can finally monitor me and hopefully send a backup real soon.

And then it clicked.

The reason why our frontline assassins discovered another system trying to have access on our super computers. It is probably them. But they didn't succeed so they tried the Redsiklon's system.

"Bastards" I uttered.

"Yeah, real bastards soon to be busted." Senna said.

I almost forgot she can also hear what I'm saying because of the microchip attached on the earpiece.

"We're almost there."

"Where?" I asked.

"To save your girl, Reaper." she said and I saw her turn off the engine of her motorbike.

"This is it?" I eyed the big building in front. It was protected with bob wires and CCTV Cameras, few men also surround the place. Some were on standby.

"Careful, they have guns." she warned.

"But no fighting skills." she continued.

"Just mad shooters."

I sent Senna a knowing look. She gave me a "what" kind of expression.

"So you're telling me she's inside?" I asked, doubting.

Aedelle is a smart girl. She won't come here alone , unless-

"Shit" I cursed.

"They made her brother the bait. She hurriedly came to this place according to our trackers but she didn't came empty handed though." Senna explained.

"What do you mean?"

"I was informed that she brought with her a sword or a samurai whatever it is. She's got something inside her I believe- like fighting skills I guess?  I hope she's fine tho. She was welcomed inside like 3 minutes and forty seven seconds before we arrived. Dad sent some assassins too but they'll be on standby from a distance and only come here if I slip off."

"That's good enough." I reached for my backpack and retrieved the things I needed. It is not gonna be easy but I'll make sure I save her before anything bad happens.

"You stay here oka.'-"

I was caught offguard when Senna use the shadows from the trees to hide herself and immediately surged forward looking for a less vulnerable entrance.

"Sorry but I won't stay, Reaper." she whispered from the earpiece.

I also made my way to the entrance for all of them to see.

What made me come forward is the lack of focus of all these men guarding the place. They aren't assassins, not sneaky, not observant, doesn't have sensitive senses, just gangsters with loaded guns.

With four shuriken blades on my hands, I calculated the distance, speed and the elevation it can travel considering some factors like the speed of the wind, direction of the wind and the force I can apply.

Confident it can hit almost all of them, I released the shuriken blades on right directions and took off running to the big oak door.

The remaining ones who weren't hit by the blade as expected, pointed their guns at me and started shooting like mad men.

The shooting abruptly stopped and I realized it was the Redsiklon's on standby assassins who shoot them dead.

Damn, they're still dirty killers as before.

"I heard some gunshots, I assume you are still alive." Senna said on the earpiece.

"Where are you and what is the situation inside?" I inquired, half walking half running.

"Go to the second floor Drake. It's damn bloody here." she said.

"Is she there?" I asked. I can feel cold sweat on my forehead. The thumping of my heart didn't help. She has to be fine.

"Yes. but-"

I was about to turn to the next corridor when I was nearly shot by more gun men. I felt the bullet pass just few inches away from my ears. I looked for a cover and asked Senna.

"But what? Don't come out the bastards are out." I warned her.

But instead of a response, I heard a defeaning *tooooooot* sound and I immediately throw the earpiece away.

"Shit."

Something must've happened.
